why would my virus come back - everyone

Please, Please Everyone!!!!Do not focus on the viral count! It is not the viral count that makes you sick. It's not the viral count that is damaging your liver. Viral count only shows how many copies of the virus are in your blood at that moment. An hour later it could be completely different.If you have to focus on anything - then focus again on the ALT and the AST. Back in 2004, in May my ALT was 142. Then, just prior to tx, my ALT was 137. The last time I actually recorded anything, my ALT was 26 and my AST was 31. That was in January of this

ny it really is going to be ok. I felt the very same way a yr ago. When I started tx my vl was 1.8 mil, during tx it dropped to 37,000, after being pulled from tx they checked it again 3 mths later 2.8 mil. I was devasted to say the least. I will be check again this Feb and am hoping for postive news. I think the virus goes a little cookie after being delt a good dose of poison. (just my opion) This was one of my questions before starting tx, "Will the virus come back with a vengance?". He said no it is going to do what it is going to do, but I am not so sure about that.

Just hang in there you will be feeling better soon I feel alot better now than I did before tx. Just give it a little whille and keep drinking lots of water to help flush your system.

ny, that is something we were afraid of. Even if you finished the treatment it might have come back.. only because it took so long for you to test undetectable. When you stop treatment, there are always chances of the virus coming back... Even when you finish it it can come back... it's a matter of not getting all of it out of your system. Remember we talked about the virus hiding during treatment..

At this point, you need to concern yourself with getting your kidneys functioning correctly again and then hopefully, you will be able to start treatment again over at s Hopkins with some real doctors. I know it's a shock.. and one none of us wanted to happen to you. We were all holding our breath I think...

I'm sorry buddy... Hang in there... It will be okay. I know people that have gone thru this treatment several times before clearing. Hopefully the second round for you will be the one that gets the job done.. remember, you only went thru half the treatment....
