Guest guest
I got a giggle out of this one Steve!!In my home, it was actually me that had the problem with a heating blanket. I'm somewhat afraid of anything electrical that stays on while I sleep and could hurt me. Not the TV or my computer that never gets shut off. But, a heating blanket - yup. Also, I still like to have the extra weight of blankets. I find it cozy. At this time of the year, I have one blanket, a comforter and my bedspread on the bed. Of course, then I have to get one leg out from under all of that. LOLGloria Marie,Gotta share this with you, will underline how stupid guys are sometimes...not like you need another lesson, but this is mine...Being the dumb macho guy that I am, my support lady has a heating blanket. Now, in normal days I hate this heating blanket, it's just a waste of energy, right? I can shiver for a few minutes and warm my bed right up! But in the height of treatment, I still didn't want it on 'my' bed...One shot about 30 minutes later I was under 3 blankets shivering, telling her I just needed "30 minutes to get on top of this"...woke up 12 hours later with another 2 blankets on me...wisdom of women, I tell you. All she wanted to do was get out her heating blanket and throw it over me, but she knew I wouldn't have it after the fact...what a dumbass men are sometimes! She was right then, but I've grown since then, glad to see you comforting yourself with some good jammies, good blankets, and a heating pad....if you want I can send you our heating blanket on the sly too!SteveLife is much more fun when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party.
