Guest guest
OK, if I get sloppy crying here at least I'm on this side of the keyboard...Been doing some thinking, about Trudy and Marie and ny particularly, but all of you on treatment specifically, and those of you treating otherwise, and all those out there that haven't found this group..."Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger"...ahhh, piss off, right? Handy dandy little saying to make you feel better about the shit you're dealing with every day? No it's not! There's folks here like Gloria and Teri and I that have been through the treatment, that empathize with what you go through every day. Others like Don haven't gone that route, but still gotta help where they can...not to beat anyone's chest, but I feel like I die with you all each day. You guys are so important to us, all we want to do is travel to each of your cities and have a cup of tea with you, pat your hands, give you a real hug, help you to bed and tell you it's all gonna be alright. All will be well, and all will be well, and all manner of thing will be well...Well folks, we've dealt with it, and in our cases it didn't kill us...and all we want to do is help you, regardless of how you're dealing with it. ny getting past the danger zone, Marie decorating the insides of a van (still funny as hell!), Trudy pushing past this hurdle, Marcia treating naturally and monitoring, Geo looking at treatment from the skinny side of it, RHSteve with his wrong hand and amazing other challenges...Good god, what an incredible site we've got here! Anyone I've missed, I apologize, I just don't have a roster here to run down, but each and every one of us is incredible. That's right, we're all incredible, no matter what you think of yourself right now, no matter what stage you're at in this process, you're loved right here, and incredible....you're YOU, and that's all you need to be for you and us.Holy crap, I'm off my soapbox now, just think there's some folks out there that needed to hear that. Thanks for listening, gang, I love you all.SteveLife is much more fun when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party.
