Guest guest
Keep in touch. My daughter has had systemic for 1 year now. I still keep hoping it will ease up on her, but only with all the medications can she feel better. She will be 7 in September and as I keep reading everyones stories, I see we could be in for a long haul with this. Luckily my 11 year old son is ok and starting football. He keeps us sane and on the right path. Pat

Guest guest
Hi Joyce, I think it is quiet because of spring break. The board was doing some maintenance last week so that may have started the lull. Happy Easter, Elaine

Guest guest
Sometimes it just goes quiet and then someone jogs everyone's memory that the board is still there. I keep meaning to post my latest blood test results (which are very good: for the first time in abpit two years my antibody test for TSI is NORMAL... I actually cried when I saw the result which I got back after three weeks of taking bugleweed - it seems like the bugleweed does seem to have a direct effect on antibody levels - I had been stuck with and equivocal result for about six months prior to taking Bugleweed tincture. The rest of my blood tests were also normal, though maybe moving back towards hyper again with a steadily falling TSH and rising FT3 and FT4.) This is why I was putting this post off - cos it is all a bit garbled if I don't sit down and think what I want to say first! I shall go and get my results out of the car where I left them and write a more concise report tonight. Hope all is well with everyone. Guest guest
Thanks ! I got a very big wee laugh out of it!! My son is now marching around chanting it as we speak!! I know you'll think I'm a wimp, but I haven't called them for the results yet!! It's been 3 weeks and a day since the scan -and I can't remember whether I was supposed to make an appointment after I had it or whether, as the radiologist said, it'll take two weeks. So I guess I'm just doing ostrich impressions!! One thing though - I've drastically cut down on the Carbimazole all by myself!! I have about half a 20mg tab every few days, and seem O.K.!! Not nearly so much brain fog. What does this all MEAN?? Thank you for thinking about me. Love, Peta x
