Hello Matt and others,

New to list and hadn't expected to be responding so soon.

There is a health clinic in syracuse ny called alternative health

care....

they do ozone blood work, chelation therapy and other modalities.

I am biased because I know the directors. They have one MD a couple of

chiropractors, nutritionists, massage therapists.

I hope I haven't crossed the line of promoting this paticular health

enter.

They work with insurance companies also.

thanks mike slivinski

Where would I get ozonated water (or dou you make it) and where are there

clinincs for ozone therapy? I live near Philadelphia Pa.

I would like to partner with a local clinic if I could find one.

I did some research on aloe vera a while back. It

does seem to be an immune booster, although you should

probably get a preparation of just the polysaccharides

rather than the whole plant. (I was taking Ambertose,

which is MLM).

I start getting a nasty runny nose on it - not my

standard Herx - so I quit taking it at the advice of

my doctor. But for some, it is helpful.

Dear Christel,

Aloe Essence freeze-dried aloe vera powder

-----------------------------------------------------------

Galactomannans are long chain sugars derived from plants, which have a wide

variety of immune stimulating and protective effects within the body. The

aloe barbadensis plant contains the greatest concentration of acetylated

mannan, which is the most active form. This " acemannan " has been shown to

have many effects in the body, mostly impacting on the gastrointestinal and

immune systems, which are intricately related.

Individuals suffering from immuno-depressive conditions (Epstein-Barr,

Chronic fatigue Syndrome, systemic candidiasis, HIV infection and others)

typically have maldigestion. Maldigestion means that the consumed food is

not properly broken down into the elemental building blocks needed for the

body to rebuild itself and to generate energy for metabolism. This results

in a type of starvation at the cellular level, with all tissue suffering

malnourishment and therefore decreased effectiveness of all internal

chemical processes.

Maldigestion also results in partially digested food remnants which cause

inflammation and increase the permeability of the mucosal wall of the

intestines. The foreign proteins of the digested food can then leak across

the mucosa into the lymphatic channels of the intestinal wall and into

circulation. Here, these absorbed proteins are recognized as foreign and

attacked by the cells of the immune system, draining it. In addition,

undigested food remnants provide fuel for the overgrowth of Candida albicans

which results in worsening of food allergies, hypoglycemia, digestive

disturbances, excessive mucus, bloating, flatulence, skin rashes, and

extreme fatigue.

All these processes lead to a progressive weakening of the immune system.

Only a thorough multidimensional treatment protocol addressing each

component has been shown to reverse these processes. Aloe vera can play a

key role in this protocol in boosting immune function, alkalinizing the

body and enhancing digestion.

The best quality aloe vera is the freeze-dried product called Aloe Essence.

It is organically grown in volcanic soils in Costa Rica and freeze-dried

within 20 minutes of harvesting in order to preserve the long-chain sugars.

It contains no additives, preservatives or fillers, just pure aloe. It can

be dissolved in juice and drunk each morning.

Best of Health!

Dr. Saul Pressman, DCh, LOH

Dear ,

Sodium Benzoate is a preservative. Not the best.

FDA regulations allow a product to be called 100% aloe vera

juice if it has at least 2 tablespoons per GALLON of aloe!

I don't know this juice in particular, but any aloe juice will have water

added, plus preservatives (by law).

There is a better product that has no preservatives, because

it comes as a freeze-dried powder.

It is Aloe Essence.

Anyone got a good supplier of top quality aloe vera juice ?

I've been using Morley's Whole Leaf Aloe Vera, which is supposed to be the

best, but I'm a bit concerned that it also contains Sodium Benzoate as a

preservative.

Is this bad or acceptable ? Is it a form of Benzene ?

Thanks in advance for any answers!

Speaking of Aloe, when I was in the produce section at Hannaford's today

they had huge aloe leaves for sale. I was shocked. I've never seen them for

sale in a grocery store. Has anybody used fresh aloe straight from the plant

before in their products? These aloe stalks were about 16 " long & real fat.

I've never even cut one open before. Can you just open them and put the

juice in a jar?

Any thoughts or opinions re: the use of aloe as a cancer treatment?

Cancer being cured is not a big deal. It happens with grapes, black strap

molasses, aloe vera, barley green, minerals, juiced vegtables and the list

goes on. So why do do many different things affect the immune system. It is

really very simple. God made lots of different foods for our body and disease

results because of a food deficiency, not a drug deficiency. The immune

system consists of 100 trillion cells in the body which work in harmony when we

keep the body clean, alkaline and well nourished. Aloe is full of minerals and

it oxgenates the blood, thus cleaning the blood. It is so simple, yet we

cannot understand why a food will result in healing. Well, disease results

because of a lack of nutrients and /or toxic matter which both will interefere

with good cell communication.

The following helps one understand the immune system better.

Immune system fitness and whole body wellness start with what we like to

call the " Healthy Cell Conceptâ„¢ "

Developed by _Al _ (http://www.healthbounce.com/aboutus.htm) , the The

Healthy Cell Concept, now enjoying its 14th year of world exposure, has been

studied, followed, recommended by doctors, health professionals and clients

of all shapes and sizes.

It is really quite simple. Have the Cytologists, Physiologists, Biologists

find out exactly what the cell utilizes, needs, wants, what the problems are

down in Cell Town, how the cell " thinks " and behaves. Then take good notes.

Understanding basic " Cytology " (actually quite fascinating to all of us here)

will motivate you to modify four (4) areas of your life that are under your

control. Yes. YOU help your cells perform their functions well (...or not).

Cells, performing their specific functions as intended, can heal the body

faster, delay the aging process ( " aging is a _myth_

(http://www.reboundair.com/Al--Letter.htm) " says Al) achieve a healthy

body composition, remain

disease and pain free for longer durations... not to mention the energy by day

and the deep sleep waiting for you at night. Your body is made up of 3

trillion of these little rascals (give or take a few million), busy doing their

job 24x7x365, even while you sleep! ...And what have you done for them

lately? Approaching health and wellness on a cellular level, from a cell's

point

of view, we learn many amazing and valuable things about our bodies.

Concept One: In order for your cells to be healthy, there are four

contributing factors you control by the decisions you make and the habits you

form:

If just one of these quadrants is neglected the result can be illness,

discomfort, pain, decrease in productivity... well, you get the idea. Needless

to

say, knowledge in these four areas is power:

1) Cell Food - In order for the cells to operate, replicate, grow and

repair, they need the amazing ingredients of Mother Nature's organic green

foods.

You are, quite literally, what you eat. Scary. Question is, do you consume

people food or cell food? Your dietary content of cellular food could

improve. Your cells are requesting, right now, even as you read this, for you

to

add Wheatgrass, Blue Green Micro Algae, Kelp, Bioflavonoids, Chlorophyll,

Yellow Dock, Acerola Cherry and Rose Hips to your morning oatmeal. Or, if this

doesn't sound appealing to your affinity for people food (I don't blame you),

keep reading. We will share how you can put all of these together, wrap them

into tablets and cover in a smooth organic mint plant extract. Ah, yes.

Better. Much.

2) Cell Environment - Your cells are surrounded by fluid (called

interstitial fluid). Since most of it is composed of water, it is safe to say

that the

purity of consumed water and the correct trace minerals available in the

water are critical to your cell environment. The amount of water consumed is

also just as important. Dehydration causes loss of some functions of the

body.

" A reduction of 4 to 5% in body water could result in a decline of up to

20% in overall work performance. " -A.C. Guyton, MD. As we age, our body's

ability to indicate thirst decreases. As a result, dizziness, some headaches,

visual problems and even mental clarity are effected by the decrease in blood

volume. You can improve your own Cell Environment by drinking plenty of pure

water and supplementing your diet with a perfectly mineralized Cell Food.

3) Cell Communication - Your cells communicate and act in unison partly as a

result of transmission between them and the brain. If transmission isn't

clear then the cells and organs do not function optimally. Another form of

intra-cell communication is the fascinating orchestration of elemental exchange

around the cell membranes. Examples include: receptor sites,

neurotransmitters, the 'sodium-potassium pump', the entire endocrine system

(hormones

released, stimulated/inhibited) the exchange of food, oxygen, elimination of

waste

and bi-products of caloric expenditure (breakdown of food sources to produce

ATP and then the bi-products of the breakdown of the stored chemical energy

within the ATP molecules to perform cellular activities). There are

nutritional

ways you could enhance and " condition " your cellular communication.

This is a broad area of cell health. In addition to nutrition and exercise,

science is finding and recording the significant positive influences that

meditation, prayer, love, relaxation, peace, massage and others, are having on

our cell communication and whole-body organ-tissue coordination. (Say that

ten times fast) Some call this the mind-body link, an area of pychosematics.

Others place these with spirituality. However you choose to categorize them,

these are time-tested practices, habits, decisions that can influence even

the tiniest of cells. They come highly recommended! It is exciting to learn

what we always knew, intuitively.

4) Cell Exercise - No, the cells don't have muscles! However, muscles are

made up of specialized cells. Benefits typically enjoyed as a result of

regular exercise are the products of improvement within and around the cells.

(Case in point: increased mitochondria count in response to increased

cardiovascular demand) Some improvements occur not only for the muscle cells,

but for

just about every cell type in the body. For example, the amazing mechanisms

that provide balance and coordination for all body movement (cerebellum, CNS,

joint proprioceptors, inner ear) are also made of connected groups of

specialized cells. Like muscle cells, these adapt to demands created by

exercise.

An exercise that places these cells in an unfamiliar environment, such as

jumping and performing Rebound Aerobics rather than walking on solid ground,

more effectively challenges these cells, leading to the conditioning of these

cells within their specific function. This includes the creation of skill

set memory and series of movement adjustments for the next time the same

activity is performed. This process is what we refer to when describing the

phenomenon of increased coordination, rhythm, timing, dexterity and kinesthetic

awareness. Or, simply put, " I'm more comfortable with it now. "

It is fun asking, " Did you know that jumping up and down can actually

improve the flow of interstitial fluid between the cells? " The answer to this

question will help you understand how you can assist your white blood cells in

their combat efforts. Interstitial fluid movement decreases localized swelling

(lymphatic system stimulation) while circulating your body's defenses (mild

immune system response), allowing access to problem areas by the most

admirable, bio-specialized cells ever to call your body " home " . Sure. Move

your

troops to the front lines where the battle is hottest. Prevent illness. Your

immune system's ability to fight foreign intruders, disease, viruses, cancer,

bacteria; combined with your lymphatic system's ability to prevent

inflamation (edema) is crucial to your wellness. Aerobic exercise helps create

better

circulation, which affects every thing else in the Healthy Cell Concept.

_Rebounding_ (http://www.healthbounce.com/) is one of the best forms of cell

exercise.

Rebound Exercise, the action of bouncing up and down against gravity,

effectively stimulates the lymphatic system without trauma to the

musculoskeletal

system. This unique discovery is central to the reasons Rebounding has become

one of the most beneficial forms of exercise ever developed.

preserve aloe sap. My plants are overgrown and I've given off-shoots to

all my friends before so I can't give them away. If there's a good way

to preserve the sap for later use, I'd love to hear it.

Irene,

Aloe is an avoid according to Typebase4. Have you tried De-

Glycyrrhizinated Licorice Extract also known as DGL? I don't know if

you can take it or not, but it is recommended for O's.

Thanks - I have heard of it but as I am allergic to licorice, I

don't dare try that one.

As a kid I used sweetened condensed milk!!! Not exactly O-compatible:-)

But it helped!

complete ingredient list for me? I went to the website you posted and

it only lists two parts of the Aloe plant, however their continued

referral to aloe as a " laxative " makes me suspicious that there might

be more things in it. Can you elaborate on that for me?

Hi Gail,

Have you ever considered just drinking pure Aloe Vera juice?
