You went to 5 classes in one day! You must be in incredible shape.

Sounds like you had a great time, Jill.

Thanks Elena,

I never think I am, but like when I tried the first TB Basic (after the

instructional for a few times) I made it nearly all the way through - apart

from some of the double time 'punch-bag' moves and kicks later (I stayed at

single time & had a chair handy for the kicks) - I was so proud, and it's

only at that time realise that I'm fairly fit, but generally don't think

about it.

I've had injuries and through experience *know* that I have to stay fit &

healthy otherwise I couldn't live any kind of decent life. I lost 2.5 stone

(sorry 35 lbs) last year (2 dress sizes ours are different in the UK, but

between the same I think), only put about 8lbs back over Xmas and recently

being unwell, this spring/summer want to get rid of at least 1stone (14lbs)

preferably 2.

I'm about 5'5 " and around 180 lbs at the moment.

It's all wrapped up in the recent discussion about how other people see you

& how you see yourself, but it's so easy to slip into bad habits.

I made a comment over the weekend in our room about my bum & tum 'not being a

pretty site' and told me off for putting myself down and got a real

lecture!

It's wonderful to have a friend that cares so much, and is comfortable

enough not to hold back from saying something that I might not like.

Sorry I'm rambling

Anyway I think the same about you guys - I just can't wait to get all the

other tapes etc..over here and see you all. ;-)

And you leave me breathless just talking about routines !

PS Oh and if I say anything you don't understand please let me know, despite

the fact we all speak english, there's often a big difference in everyday

language between our regions, let alone countries & all your states too.

Whoever was having the Pop/Soda (?) discussion I called it pop as a child

:-)

Jill,

I'm so glad that you had so much fun at your Jazzercise weekend! It

sounds like so much fun and a great workout! One of these times, we'll

have to get you over here for the tae-bo tapings. You would love it.

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself this weekend :)

Don't worry it's on my 'want to do list' for when I get to the US, and

hopefully meet some of you too ;-)

Funnily enough I was telling about you guys and because Jazzercise is

based in California that I could do a visit there & TB (is it World Centre

?) & even tapings another weekend if the timing was right.

I think you must know by now that I'm *mad*, but very happy.

On another note I wish we could get it straight as to approaching each state in regards to stopping the mandatory situation to begin with. Then there was the meeting which discussed getting the county sherrif to defy any federal mandate. I contacted the King County sherrif's office in WA and the man who 'speaks for the sherrif' who was out of town had no clue and said they will not even consider the issue unless it is 'ACTUALLY FORCED' federally....he was vague and rude. I have not heard a peep from my congressman regarding petitions done here or anywhere on the matter. It's hard to know where to spend time and energy on this whole level.

Above all fear is the worst thing and we all have to find our center before doing anything. Finding that balance between being aware, being proactive and unafraid is difficult.
