Guest guest
Well, saw Hdoc today. At first he was all positive about being undetectable at 4 weeks. Said my labs are ok- I am hypoglocemic and should eat something every two hrs( just for the record I have GAINED 8 lbs!lol). We were discussing tx plans. My stuttering was worst ever. Becky & Dr talked. Then I ask if tx could cause a false positive about Kappa Light Chains. His demeanor changed. He was talking in circles and not looking at me. He wanted to know who told me. I explained and I said something about Multiple Myeloma. He said " well since I said it , he was trying to avoid that subject. " so we talked a bit about it. He doesn't need to see me for 6 weeks. By then we will know more about MM. He could hear how stressed I am( the stutter). He said on week 17 we will probably stop tx cause of everything else. He didn't see any wisdom in contiinueing to stress my body since undetectable since week 4. ya know, it is scarey to see your Dr uncomfortible about your condition. I never thought there could be something that makes HepC trivial by comparison. So far three medical persons have gotten quiet and then overly " comforting " about the MM. Teri, did you see the survival rates for MM? Oh well, it is what it is. ( Damn I'm scared. Never been this scared.). Time for shot 11. Wishing you well , marie. Trudy.
