Guest guest
Hi Sharon. Good plan. - Go in to the doc and ask for current Viral Load and Liver Function labs. - Talk with your doc about how you feel and think. Tell him everything. [He may be able to proscribe some headmeds that will help with the stress.] These things are all important for your doc to help you correctly. Ask for labwork copies like I have mentioned before. Your going to be just fine Sharon. This is all very routine. love don in ks From: Sharon Mcdonald <sharonmcdonald95@...>Subject: Re: [ ] doc appmt - Sharon Date: Thursday, December 2, 2010, 3:55 PM Don, I have been sick for the last two days with nausea. I don't know if it's my gallbladder or my liver or my tooth. But something is terribly wrong. I don't think stress makes u nauseas. My husband said he would go with me. I will ask the doc if i still have the hep c to find out the viral load and the other liver levels. I know I will be going to see a liver specialist, I know there is something wrong. Well, nothing I can do but get the results. I probably won't have them tomorrow, and I don't want him to call me on the phone so I figure maybe next week he will see me, not sure how they do this. He is a good doc but not a liver specialist. I do like him but I am not sure what he's gonna do when I tell him. Not looking forward to it. I look at it this way, my husband, who did more drugs than a pharmacy could stack, and drank but not a lot and he has nothing wrong with him, well I am feeling pretty good next to him, lol. He also had his gallbladder removed and almost died. He bled internally after the removal for some reason, no idea why. But this nausea has to stop it's making me ill. I am making an appt with a dentist too. I am so sick it's not funny. I don't know what the hell is wrong, I'm burping a little but the nausea i can't even do anything today. I will keep everyone informed. My apt. is 12:20 ugh. Wait til the doc hears what i have to say, lol Well my husband will be there so I won't be able to get a word in edgewise, maybe that's a good thing. I took Maalox i think it is. It's for indigestion. That's what it feels like. ttyl and fill you in. thanks sharon From: Christ <ludichrist2000@...>WebWarriors grp < >Sent: Thu, December 2, 2010 1:28:35 PMSubject: [ ] doc appmt - Sharon Hi Sharon I just want to encourage you to remain calm. Your going to do just fine at your doc appmt tomarrow. Your going to learn some very helpful things, and get some answers. You may even be pleasently surprised. Ask your doctor to give you these 2 blood tests: - Viral Load - [to show if you are actually chronic or not, and what VL you have] - Liver Function - [to see where your liver stats stand - ALT, AST, etc] A tiny prick, and you do need to know these things, so you can make plans for YOUR future. We can help you understand the results when you get them. I know it will be a big relief to put this step behind you. I was freaking before my first doc visit too. REMEMBER - your not going to die. Most all HCV complications are treatable, and life does go on. AND By you going through this step first, you will be able to help others in your family too. I am blasting you with love, calm, good results, and lotsa good energy. You can do this. love don in ks
