Guest guest
Hi all, Got my latest lab results today. All were higher in June when I was diagnosed with diabetes. Treating for my diabetes has hejped !!! Lab Jan 09 June 10 Nov 10 Alt 36 66 42AST 47 85 48 A1C 7.1 12.8 6.7 Viral Load 1,145,753 RNA or 6.059 Viral log Don't have previous viral load numbers. Just wanted to share how my blood sugar levels affected my liver and my Hep C. The A1C is the test for a 3 month period of blood sugar levels. Increased risk of diabetes is 5.7 to 6.4. Above 6.5 is diagnosed as diabetes. It should have been caught in Jan 09. Don't understand much about viral load --don't see any previous lab results with that on them. I think the numbers are just above low but I am not sure.(Teri, do you know?) I have consistantly run about 9.5 on hemoglobin for a number of years so I am somewhat anemic. My rheumatoid factor was 84.7 in Jan 09--normal is 0-13.9--so that was pretty high. For those who don't remember--never treated--had Hep C 44 yrs +. Biopsy over 10 years ago Stage2 then. Doc won't order another. Mostly want to warn ALL to watch their intake of sugar. Not good for our liver. SuziQ Quinn In the swamp in secluded recesses, a shy and hidden bird is warbling a song.
