let me know about this. I am in Boston and would love to get their help. Also, everyone is invited to my house for free to stay if their funds are low. I am 10 minutes from Cambridge, MA. I went to Lesley University right next to Harvard so I am familar with the area which is in cambridge.

From what I hear, Vertex was really strict about what info got out and what info didn't. They aren't letting ANYTHING jeopardize this drug being released. NOTHING. They have such big plans for Hep C Awareness and eradication it's amazing. I will be addressing a group of nurses next month who will be answering a 1-800 line that Vertex is starting for people with Hep C. Not sure where I'm going, we're thinking it's Boston again since that's where Vertex is.

Sharon I will definitely give you all the info as soon as it is released.  This is the start of a huge program that Vertex will be launching to spread awareness for Hep C and hopefully to eradicate the virus completely.  Just like Polio.  They have just submitted a Fast Track FDA Approval for their new drug Telaprevir which will be used along with Ribavirin and Interferon.  The new drugs initial results from clinical testing show an increase in cure rates and in some cases a shorter treatment time.  Vertex will be doing all sorts of things to raise awareness and offer help.  

Vertex picks up the tab while I am in town, they cover everything from my meals to airfare.  My initial out of pocket costs are minimal and reimbursed pretty quickly.  I would love to meet you while I am there though!
