Guest guest
Kinda being forced on me BUT... I woke up this morning to a thick blanket of snow on the ground. We have a good 4 inches already and it's still coming down. We made a trip to the grocery store and the Christmas music was playing. I got teary eyed. It's time to start being Christmas.... I guess the tree will go up today. WOW. How did this happen so fast? It seems like just yesterday I was moving in this place and it was June... We started making memories here on Thanksgiving and now we'll make some more. Hope you all have a safe and peaceful weekend. Everyone on treatment, please drink more water and try to eat some okay? I love you all... Hugs, Teri
Guest guest
TeriI bought a silly little plastic tree at the Dollar store and it's about the only thing that will fit. When I went over to get some stuff from my old home, I told the husband to keep an eye out for at least my one Christmas bulb; because it was a keepsake from my son's first Christmas. Also, I said that I wanted my moving Santa Claus. In the end, they were easy to see, so I grabbed them.He (the husband) was in a foul mood as usual and said that he may not even bother with a tree this year. All I said was, just let me know - I'll be back to get a set of lights, a few bulbs and that extra special bulb. Boy, did he ever give me the uni-brow!! Teri, I'm finally much past the stage of having to fight with him!!!! I'm definitely in that place where I just want to live the happiest life I can. Of course, it helps that my absolutely favourite great-niece is here again for a few days. She always brightens my moods.Gloria Kinda being forced on me BUT... Guest guest
Good job Gloria! I'm sure that took a lot for you to just hold your tongue and let it go. It's the best thing to do.. Feed into that crap and you get sucked in and it just messes with you. You don't need that now or ever again. The hubs brought the tree up last night.... Now there are 3 HUGE Rubbermaid tubs in my living room... My son can put this tree together in 45 minutes... it will take me at least a full day and that's just to assemble the tree.... not lights or ornaments. Going to see if I can get him to cruise on up today and put this puppy together for me in a flash. If not, I have my work cut out for me...
