You paid into it previously so go for it.  It's not like unemployment where you need those points to draw.  Just apply again, I am pretty sure you can do it online..  I just had to go thru the appeals process but I didn't have to jump thru any hoops at all.  I made sure they had info from ALL of my doctors and they were fine with that.  The attorney only charges you if you win and it's a set amount.  Like around 5 grand..  less if you don't get that much in a back payment.  But yep, I'd apply.  You have enough that you might get it right away even.

Thanks Teri. I've kinda figured I still could and will go thru a lawyer because

I get overwhelmed so easily anymore which makes me very frustrated with myself.

Sure give me the name and number of your guy. We do have several social

security lawyers in the area, and with your guy I can make a few calls and make

a dicision on who I want to go thru.
