Well, one way to get a good use out of Ginger Root, is to put some in your tea. I've never done this personally; but, I used to have ginger root around anyway.Gloria

Thank you Barbara

Thats a neat bit of info to know for occasional use.

BUT

This also has some side effects that arent too good.

This is for Trudy - I don't know if I am posting in the right place.... I soooo hate throwing up..... None of us can afford the dehydration.Maybe this will help.... I have used crystalized ginger (root) for YEARS for nausea - I buy it in the little "cubes" and then cut those up into smaller pieces and keep it with me always, in a pill container. It really works. It starts working immediately. Once I have a piece or two of ginger root chewed up, I can tolerate some soda crackers and ginger ale, if I have some. When ginger doesn't work, the only thing better is marijuana. ;) (s'true!) I have given co-workers and friends little chunks of ginger when they are nauseated - even women with morning sickness - and it works great. They always come back and say, hey where do you GET that stuff???? I stock up at the Whole Foods when I go to town. (from Barbara in New Mexico..... livin' with the

dragon.)> Ginger Ale is a lot better than 7UP. Also, the best way to get it to work is to make it flat. Do that just by stirring it with a spoon.------------------------------------
