Guest guest
Hi Marie Do you have a disability lawyer? I should think that there is a 'immediate concern' thing, where your case can be speeded up. If you have a lawyer, you might act about this. Im glad you got a 60 day extention at the shelter. That will take some of the stress off of your back. I have never even seen a Starbuck's. Ah, the big city. I forget. Hang in there my friend. Your labs will be good. love don in ks >>> From: Rain Beau <annamariestitt@...>> Subject: [ ] Anticipation...> " " < >> Date: Tuesday, November 23, 2010, 2:24 PM>> Well got to my docs office & they drew my blood now to wait three hours for> the results...ugh...Patience is not a virtue that i possess....>> Blessed be marie---------> Sent from AT & T's Wireless network using Mobile Email>>> ------------------------------------>>
Guest guest
marie, don't count on that disability coming thru quickly. Usual time from filing to actually getting it is close to 2 years with the appeals process. It took me 22 months from date of filing til I had a check in my hand and I had one of the biggest hot shot attorneys in the entire Country. He pulled strings with judges to get me thru the system quicker. I actually got a decision from the judge on the day we went to court. Normally you get that decision by mail 60 days AFTER the court date then it's another 60 days before you get money... so he cut a good 6 months off my whole process. You need to have a plan in place for what is going to happen 60 days from now. It would be a miracle if your Social Security comes thru this quickly. Granted, it COULD happen but I hope you're not counting on it showing up any day now... If I remember correctly you got your first denial in August... or was that your second? It's the third time where you wind up in front of a judge. Here in IL the wait time for that process is usually 18 months from the last appeal. I got lucky and got a much earlier date for my court appearance. I'd just hate to have you saying " Now what? " in 60 days... you need to prepare.Hugs,TeriOn Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 2:51 PM, Rain Beau <annamariestitt@...> wrote: I know it is my favorite city too however, today its 53 degrees & raining so i am sitting next to the window inside the second floor @ starbucks, i wish my disability comes through soon. i just got a 60 day extension @ the shelter but then??? i really would like to get a studio closer to the city Blessed be marie--------- Sent from AT & T's Wireless network using Mobile Email - [ ] Anticipation... > " " < > > Date: Tuesday, November 23, 2010, 2:24 PM > > Well got to my docs office & they drew my blood now to wait three hours for > the results...ugh...Patience is not a virtue that i possess.... > > Blessed be marie--------- > Sent from AT & T's Wireless network using Mobile Email > > > ------------------------------------ > >

Guest guest
Hi marie,My hubby was at a shelter for two years. They got him a voucher for housing and social security disability. They literally told him at the disability office that he didn't need a lawyer. It took about I want to say 8 months to a year I think. Not too sure. But anyway he got it all. This shelter helped my hub with all his doctors appt. too. I don't know if this helps but I saw you were in a shelter. If u have any questions about the disability.take caresharonFrom: Christ <ludichrist2000@...> Sent: Tue, November 23, 2010 3:59:50 PMSubject: Re: Re: [ ] Anticipation... Actually, I'm not all that crazy about Starbuck's and feed my addiction to lattes at the private coffee shacks. It was neat coming back from central California on the ocean side. My mother had already been getting me a wake up Latte at a place close to where we were staying as Pismo Beach. Then, for the trip back, she was on the watch for a coffee shack, especially in the mornings. I had to cut myself down on these coffee's because it does get a bit expensive. However, as much as my body doesn't really care if I drink a cup of coffee, I can still crave a Latte.Gloria Hi Marie Do you have a disability lawyer?
