Guest guest
Hi Im going to suggest some things as to why you may have headaches. Food for thought, my friend. - When my eyes started going bad, eye strain gave me headaches. [HCV meds affects the eyes.] - Stress and worry can cause headaches. [You sure have a plate full of this going on.] - Too much sugar. [A possibility - sugar gets to me.] - Not eating right, and/or getting the proper balance in nutrition. [one a day multi vitamin helps - but real food is best] - Not sleeping well, or getting enough sleep. [Are you tossing and turning?] - Urinary problems not flushing the toxins from your body. [Very likely.] - Im sure the HCV meds mixed with any or all of the above will cause headaches. - A lot of blood drawn at one time for labs. - Possibly mixing medications. , you have stated most of these things in your posts. *** I personally feel that your urinary problems and lack of good diet may be THE two major contributors to you having headaches. Once your pee-ing properly again, flushing toxins, and eating right again, you may see much improvement in your health. - your right, there could be 100 reasons for headaches. But mostly, headaches are a warning sign that something is not right in your body, diet, or lifestyle. Headaches are a symptom, not a cause. Aspirin type meds are not going to do you much good if the CAUSE is continuing. Do you understand? love don in ks I have been having the worst migraines, daily what kind of meds can I take? I know tylenol is out, but is anything safe for Hep C people to take? thanks, ny
Guest guest
Hi Don,thank you so much, yes I get it. I can check everything here, and I am sure there are lots more. BTW what effect does HCV or the meds have on the eyes?I think that you might be right about the bladder and not eating right, as the headaches became out of control since stopping treatment, which is when the bladder issue started. I do know that all the headache meds not fix anything, just masking the problem to give you a few hours of relief. Same thing when I used to drink a bottle of whiskey(from being upset at something), woke up the next day with same problems, but with a hang over.thanks so much,nyFrom: Christ <ludichrist2000@...> Sent: Fri, November 12, 2010 9:49:25 AMSubject: [ ] headaches - ny Hi Im going to suggest some things as to why you may have headaches. Guest guest
Hi Click this link for info about HCV TX and eye problems. http://health.dir./group/ /links/011___HCV_and_Optic_neuropathy__eye_prob_001269803111/ , if your kidneys arent working right, then toxins build up in your bloodstream. One symptom of this toxin buildup will be headaches. As your kidney problems get better, your headaches should decrease. One of the symptoms of a bad diet or lack of food is also headaches. The better and more you eat, the less your head will hurt. Also, the HCV meds are still trying to leave your body. You still need to drink lots of water to help this happen. But your not doing this because your not pee'ing. The HCV meds will start leaving again as soon as your kidney problems resolve, and you start to drink fluids again. So you see, all these things work together - water, food, kidney function, flushing the HCV meds, plus headaches, and bad sides. You didnt eat or drink right on treatment, and your kidneys finally shut down. This caused more problems, and you ended up taken off treatment to save your life. Do you understand? One thing led to another. I pray that you heal fast my friend. I want to hear that you finally feel good enough to go surfing again. love don in ks I have been having the worst migraines, daily what kind of meds can I take? Guest guest
Hi Don,Thanks for the link, I did not know about this. I sometimes get foggy & strained vision too Lai thinks I need new glasses, I hope that is all that is wrong.I hope that once the kidneys improve the headache do too, they are just so bad.I am starting too see that all the organs work together, and are not separate like I always thought.I have been drinking a lot of water lately and eating good too, but mostly veggies, fruits and smoothies trying to stay all natural. Also I can't tolerate meat, and think it is gross now, even my taste buds are broken, I used to love broccoli, but now it taste weird, but I eat it still.Yeah I think that you and Teri have a point about me not drinking enough on treatment, but I thought that I was, I drank 2 or 3 1.5 liters of water which I thought was a lot, but maybe I needed more.Yeah I want to paddle back at pipe, that would be great. I hear there is a 20 foot swell coming soon, I might have to at least see it.thanks,Hugs,nyFrom: Christ <ludichrist2000@...> Sent: Fri, November 12, 2010 9:31:18 PMSubject: Re: [ ] headaches - ny Hi Click this link for info about HCV TX and eye problems. http://health.dir./group/ /links/011___HCV_and_Optic_neuropathy__eye_prob_001269803111/ , if your kidneys arent working right, then toxins build up in your bloodstream. Guest guest
yes, this is why I was always so angry with them! I see my attitude towards doctors changing after seeing this urologist, I am amazed they call me, it is so nice that they call to see how I am doing! I wish all doctors were like this.Hugs,nyFrom: Theresa Gottlieb <theresagottlieb@...> Sent: Wed, November 17, 2010 4:11:25 AMSubject: Re: [ ] headaches - ny grr... stupid doctors. they were more interested in the clinical trial than the health and welfare of the patients on the trial. makes me angry. i'm just glad you have found caring doctors now. hugs, teri On Wed, Nov 17, 2010 at 2:36 AM, Barrett <barrjohnm@...> wrote: Yikes, I thought that was enough, I think it was close to a gallon.
