Guest guest
Okay... checked this one out. Hepatitis C is basically a human only virus, although chimpanzees can also be infected. Chimpanzees are very nearly human from a biological point of view. So you can't get hep C from a dog or cat or horse. Some viruses can be passed from one species to another. Influenza viruses, for example, commonly pass from birds to humans. But not hep C. You can only get it from other humans, or if you're very unlucky, from a chimp.
