Thank you for the update. YOu must be responding or they would have pulled you from everything. My doc got scared when my counts dropped and pulled all tx even though my vl had dropped to 37 thousand. I will keep you in my prayers I know your going to slay the dragon.!!

Hi, when I went to the doctor on Thursday, I had no idea about the news that i received.

it turns out they stopped the trial medication, and so I am just on the standard tx ribas/interferron.

It was due to the really bad rashes and horrible sides, the doctor thinks this should decrease the sides for me, I really hope so. lots of people have experienced really bad rashes with the trial meds and bad sides. Now I am not sure if I was on the real drug, but I think that I was the placebeo is an empty pill with no sides, and would not cause the rash. I am happy they choose this and did not decrese the ribas, which was talked about.

I also have to get another colonoscopy for the bleeding from going to the bathroom #2, but I have to get another test like the colonoscopy through the mouth to find out why I throw up blood. This happen only once, but I guess it is better to get the test than to wonder what if.

then there was all the talk about the immune system not really being here, and my low plattelte & blood counts. I have to be careful now more than than ever. I was warned that even a simple cut, the blood will not clot.

after all this the doctor gave me my interferron shot, and then I had the massive blood test, the nurse brought out too trays, I did not even ask how many vivals it was, but i think over 20. I never felt so bad after the blood test. The sides kicked in my the time I made it home, which I had to take the bus, cmae home went into bed and stayed there. still feeling really weak, but at least the fever and chills are gone.

thanks,

ny
