Guest guest
Another thing Pam, My hair and nails are long and healthy too. And people tell me that I seem to have a glow around me (I swear I am a freak lol). So even though I have these ugly 30 pounds too much on me, I guess I look okay too. So go figure aye? Guest guest
Debbie, unless you are pregnant, with a 99. reading, you may be hyperthyroid!!! I would love to have a 99. degree temp and be pregnant!!!! I love it that you are not full of shit!!! Cute. On the coffee, I wonder because you drank so much of it before, that it has messsed up your metabolism??? Ahh, it could be too that if you are hyperthyroid, that your body is not processing the foods correctly, therefore you are not getting the full benefits from them. I know with infertility, hyper can be just as detremental as hypo. Just a guesstimate, Pam.
Guest guest
Pam, lol I only take 1 tablet a day of the dhea.....but do I get to do a major lawsuit on the company if I get pregnant? lol I just can't EVER have that happen again, honest....6 is more than enough. Take care Re: Debbie Debbie, be careful with the dhea - on one girl it started facial hairgrowing. she had so much progesterine in her body, that the estrogen waslow and she was growing facial hair. When she had a hormone test, herdhea was sky high. On a happier note - but more cautious to you - she is happily pregnant!!! Guest guest
Thanks Louise....I know the exercising would help, but my GOD why couldn't I be an A who can sit and loose weight. Not that I don'[t want to or enjoy exercise, but with sitting in an office all day and then tending to family at night, and trying to keep my house spotless (one of my compulsive quirks) I never have time to exercise, BUT I do not sit around doing nothing for sure. Re: Re: Debbie Debbie, you sound like my daughter and me. We have to exercise a lot, in addition to eating right to lose weight. I wasn't this way until I hit 45, but my daughter's only 25! Plus we aren't as strict as Dr. D'Adamo indicates an O should be who's wanting to lose weight. For instance, only 2 oz. of meat to a serving (instead of 3-5) if you're wanting to lose weight. That's not much meat 1/8 of a lb. Plus, we don't always eat 3-5 servings of cooked veggies and 3-5 servings of raw veggies a day--that's a lot of veggies.Anyway, I'm getting tired of carrying my extra 30 #s so I'm going to start exercising more, eating more veggies and eating less meat. I'll let you know if it works!! Guest guest
Hi Debbie I needed to lose close to 30 pounds myself, I was wondering if you exercised? I imagine it would be hard with your kids but I decided I could not stand my body either. So I made it a top priority, even if it is only 30 min a day. I found I could squeeze it in somewhere. Hope it helps Steph.
Guest guest
No the exercise is the only thing that I did not do....BUT!!!!! That doesn't mean I sit on my tush doing nothing. Even at work I use the bathroom on the next floor and take the stairs. Other than that, Yes I sit at a computer all day. But once I am home I am climbing stairs, in and out of rooms, cleaning, laundry, dinner, dishes, ...well you know how it goes.....so I am not sitting around all day doing nothing and on weekends I never sit. We are relandscaping our lawn ourselves, and have just remodeled inside ourselves and guess who has done it being that my husband is on a ship for months at a time? So I do use my body, and I am full of energy so I know I am not lethargic.....other than that...what can I say? I can't believe that just the lack of Aerobic exercise would keep me from the weight loss. But maybe, just maybe that is the key and if I can get 30 minutes to do so I will. Thanks, Debbie Re: Re:Debbie > Hi Debbie > I needed to lose close to 30 pounds myself, I was wondering if you exercised? > I imagine it would be hard with your kids but I decided I could not stand my > body either. Guest guest
Hi All, Dr. Bruce West, publisher of Health Alert Newsletter did some research on ER4YT diets and found that one third of those following the diet will lose a lot of weight, one third will lose a little weight and get rid of some symptoms and one third will have no reaction at all. So don't be discouraged if you're one who does not lose a lot of weight. I'm one of those and I know several others who are too. Diane Re: Debbie> Debbie, are your potions okay for the blood type? Guest guest
You are so right on that one. Guest guest
Hi Debbie, I wouldn't want to be an A. I have 3 sisters who are As and they're a lot more overweight than I am and one of them is on the run all the time! Besides, I like our diet better too!! Try fitting in a brisk walk a few minutes a day! And, maybe you do need to sit around and do nothing for awhile; that's needful for all of us! I think when I'm too busy, my body is tense and alert and holding on to every teeny bit of fat. Guest guest
Damn straight on that one. My mom has 8 children and was a ghastly skinny bone for many, many years. All of a sudden she put 20 pounds on....nothing fit her and the doctors could offer no explanation. She was 37 when that happened. Now every year she can count on being 2 pounds heavier. She went from a very boney 112 pound (5'4 " ) at 36 to 144 pounds at 37 yrs.(IN ONE YEAR>>>>>>OH MY GOD>>>>>I HATE MY GENES!!!) and has gained about 2 pounds or more a year since. She is 64 and now weighs 230 pounds. She has tried every diet, exercised (the woman had 8 kids....she got plenty of exercise) has tried electric muscle stimulators and anything else you can think of. NOTHING works. She has given up and shakes her head when I say there has to be something that will work, cause although the same is happening to me......I refuse to give up. At least right now anyways. I was 36 ( 5' 8 " ) had 6 kids and weighed 125. Now at 45, I weigh 175. I have desperately tried to loose the 30 pounds and would be happy at 130. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them. If I could afford them I would take the HGH shots (human growth hormone..but they are $1000. a shot and you need two a day....hello! Not in this life time) I joke around a lot on here, cause if I don't laugh I would cry, but to be honest......and I have mentioned this before.....I will try anything to loose this weight, and I am getting to the point where I am willing to look into unnatural ways. The hell with my health.....I want my old body back. I want to look sexy with no cloths on, and I want to wear pretty tight clothes. I would die to wear a pair of pink leather pants....lol J/K. No, seriously, if I could look like did in that dress she wore to the Grammies.......shit I would go naked! lol My husband tells me that I am fine and that he loves me just the way I am, but believe me, if I lost this 30 pounds.......he would be much happier. No one wants a mate that is fat even if they do love them. AND THAT IS A FACT. It is because they love you that they accept you....but preference....I don't think so. So, so much for all of this. It does get extremely discouraging and it is depressing. When I see skinny woman shoving their mouths full of sub sandwiches, ice cream, and all kinds of pasta, I could just slap them. Skinny little bitches. I am very prejudiced against them. Thank God I have a half way decent looking face, decent hair, and good skin...or I would really be miserable.lol Oh well hopefully there is an answer out there somewhere aye? Take care all. Debbie PS I live in Florida and am outdoors all the time. I am not a sedentary person or I would have no one to blame but myself. It HAS TO BE THESE GOD DAMN GENES.....hey! do they do gene replacement? I am serious, I would do anything...you have no idea. Guest guest
Hello to all I find that my energy levels at times are very low due to the C Fatigue. Also have a thyroid problem, but my homeopath always checks the levels for the pituary as well. I go to the gym 4 times a week and take just over an hour to do my free weight workout. Am 160cm in length and weigh 44 kilograms. Followed a vegetarian diet for the last 10 years and have been advised to start including fish just twice a week as, as an O I react a lot to Soya etc and need the added protein. I don't know how my body is going to take to including fish again. I have not had any form of meat, fish or chicken. Are there any other ex vegetarians out there who can advise me on how to start including fish into my diet again, or are there supplements that I can take that would make up for the much needed protein. I do feel that the nuts and seeds are not enough as I lead a very active life and have a very demanding career. Would canned Tuna be OK? Guest guest
Omega-3 is a fatty acid that is supposed to be an excellent source of protein as a supplement. Dr. Dadamo even suggests that O's take Omega daily. Debbie Re: Re: Debbie > Hello to all > > I find that my energy levels at times are very low due to the C Fatigue.
