I hate this.  I had problems with one tooth during treatment and nobody would touch it til I had been done with treatment for at least 6 months. My friend doesn't do root canals anymore and she won't pull teeth..  I know, that's what a dentist does but not this dentist...  That one tooth from tx had to be pulled because to save it was going to cost me about 5 grand.  Nope.. not getting in debt for 5 grand for a tooth.  Now it seems several of them are acting up and it's all of a sudden.  Just out of the blue my teeth are crumbling.  It seems to be only the back ones but no tellin...  She only x-rayed one side in the back.  I have an appointment with her for the morning after I get back so I'll know a lot more then...  for right now...  just hoping I can stay out of pain til then.  She did file down the broken one.. it was really sharp and cutting on my tongue so at least it's bearable now.

Ive had soooo much trouble with my teeth these last few years.

I was losing 3 back teeth a year until now I have only one left in the very back.

I have most of my front teeth except for one gaping hole.

I look like an inbred hillbilly now when I smile. LOL :-)

 

And I havent done treatment yet.

My losses are from the HCV alone.

Its kind of a drag trying to chew, but Ive been eating soft foods for awhile now.

 

Im sorta glad Ive lost most of my teeth because they wont be a problem during treatment, when and if.

That, and I dont wake up in the middle of the night on a saturday in horrible pain, and theres no dentist until monday.

 

Start keeping 'Ora-gel' handy.

Your lucky you have a dentist for a friend.

I hope you dont have too much problem during your trip.

That would be a drag.

Yet another fallout from Hep C and treatment..  my teeth.  My friend checked my broken tooth this morning when I dropped off our rent.. yes, my best friend is a dentist and I am leasing my house from her..  anyway, she knew I had a tooth that broke and it was bothering me so she had one of her girls take a few x-rays..  just checked the back teeth on one side cause that's where the broken one is...  she can't save the tooth.. and there are a few more that are just as bad just not broken yet.  So when I get back from Cambridge, apparently I am going to be needing some serious dental work.  Not a happy camper today at all. 

Now I need the hugs...Teri------------------------------------
