Well that was awful coincidental!! I'm reading this post and right next to it, was advertising for a Crest toothpaste.

Hi Gloria

I think I saw someplace the other day an article saying something like 1 out of 4 or 5 Americans have Gingivitis.

I cant remember where, or the exact numbers. It was high tho.

- BUT -

According to Quantum Health, 80% of the world has it.

http://www.quantumhealth.com/news/gingivitis.html

Bleeding gums is one of the symptoms, even if you cant see any blood.

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001056.htm

HCV is known to cause gum, tooth, and bone problems.

It is also true that HCV can be detected in saliva.

So taking all this info and combining it together - maybe changing out toothbrushes during treatment occasionally might not be such a bad idea.

I mean, they arent very expensive.

Not to freak anyone out, but this could possibly be one of the causes why some folks fail treatment.

I havent seen any 'proof' of this, but it kinda makes sence to me.

And if it is true, gad - its soooo obvious.
