Ramona/Trudy,It's so good to see you posting, and to hear about the little victories.Ramona, what a good idea! Soup is the best, and just the broth will help immensely. Of course, Trudy might remember her steak a little too well and the soup will be a poor substitute...If you ladies were whining and moping, they would be drama shoes. However, it is what it is, and you're continuing to breathe in and out, so keep doing what you're doing and if it's too much, come here and find a soft shoulder for a minute.Halfway through, what a milestone! We're all here pulling for you.SteveLife is much more fun when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party. Jimmy Buffett

I'm off to Wally world for fresh veggies for my soup! Actually , the broth is the hardest part for me. ( possible H (?) hernia) even canned soups I have to pour off over half the broth before I eat it. But yummy lol. Homemade soup!! But now I need to share important stuff. Y'all know how very bad this past week was for me. Words really can't describe. Well, I knew I had slacked off on water but I wasn't keeping track of it. Then my hands dried out so bad it looked like dozens of paper cuts. ALL of me was in really bad shape. Well the hands and mouth( cracked) made me realize. I was only getting maybe one bottle of water a day for two weeks. Yikes!! Got back to 6 bottles a day. Took a few days. But Damn, I'm so much better now. Remember, I said I felt better AFTER my shot!! No! I felt better after three days of fluids! I know we preach about water; I just wanted to share so the vital

importance of WATER is realized by others.( another fine example of my hard-headedness ). http://facebook.com/people/andTrudy-Kinsey/1340460877 " "A well- behaved woman never made history"...Mae Westhttp://oktravels.wordpress.com http://allrecipes.com/cook/TrudyK/profile.aspx On Oct 24, 2010, at 1:47 PM, schandler21@... wrote:

Trudy you're gonna make the water witch come out and play....  No wonder you were feeling so horrible.  And 6 bottles a day still isn't enough...  it's enough to call a start on the water for the day! Your hands must hurt being that cracked.  Put some moisturizer on them...  not lotion, moisturizer, the kind you would put on your face...  it will help a ton.  As for your lip, vaseline.  MORE WATER!  I'm glad you're not feeling as bad as you were sweetie..

Hugs,

I just had a visual of a cute little boy, hands behind his back, blue jeans, red plaid flannel shirt, chin on chest with a sweet little grin. Of course trying not to let anyone see the grin. And little leather boots scuffed up from kicking dirt when you are embarrassed. Thanks for the visual.

RamonaYou just described my son when he was about two. I have that picture somewhere. He was a chubby little one and looked so cute in his blue jeans with the cuffs turned up and his red plaid shirt.I had two pictures of him, that helped me not attempt to kill him, when he was a teenager. There was that one and another that was taken when he was about 4. In that one, he was wearing a nice little shirt and a v-neck sweater over that. But, it was the glasses that completed that picture. Sadly, the eye specialist was such an idiot because, those glasses that I was constantly reminding him to find, ended up to be absolutely useless. Glasses were not going to have any

effect on his lazy eye. Fortunately, I moved to another town and the new specialist did the second surgery to his eyes and that had a far greater effect.Gloria
