Why do I get this image in my head of a big Samoan holding you down and force feeding you?!!  Not a great visual but if I think about it long enough it gets funny!

It's good to see you posting.  Rage?  I can tell you why you have so much rage.. You are pissed off and I don't blame you.  I would be too.  Those damn doctors at that clinic where you were doing your trial are a bunch of morons.  Your treatment should not have been as rough as it was..  and I firmly believe it wouldn't have been if the doctor had been more hands on with you.  Dude, our last conversation about coming back to the mainland and getting some good medical care is still the best option in my opinion.  Lets get you well so life can go on.  Then and only then you can re-visit the treatment options.  I think not in a clinical trial and with an amazing Liver Specialist with a good bedside manner, you should do okay.  But, that's a long way off.  I posted earlier about the rush from diagnosis to treatment.. that's what happened with  you.  You never had a chance to settle into this and research what options you had.  Much less get comfortable with the fact that Hep C had found you.  All of this is reason enough for your rage.. for right now, own it.  It's healthy.  You have to get it all out of your system before you can go on.  Its okay.  We're here.  And you don't have to worry about what you say or how you say it to us.  No harm, no foul.

nyI'm sorry that you feel that way and I can assure you from experience, that it is not normal that you feel treated so badly. While I was on my trial, I did not see the Gastro every time I went there; but, I knew that he carefully studied all my tests - no matter what kind. I knew that it was very important to them that I remember every little thing that happened as well.In fact, I will be sent back to the same clinic, for this new cancer scare and I'm grateful; because, I also felt so secure with them. So much so that I couldn't fathom starting with someone new even though it's a long drive for me.Gloria

Hi Gloria,I did ask alot of question, but I also get "that is complicated" or just would get nothing, at some point I stopped asking any questions to the doctors. 99% of what I learn about Hep C & the treatment came from the net.
