Im sorry yours is.

Im glad that you can get your teeth clean finally.

This should help improve your general health too.

My liver tests are good also.

Hopefully both you and I can wait for some better treatment to become available.

Its in the works, I just hope it doesnt take too alful long to reach us.

Hang in there my friend - life is still good.

Hello everyone, I am finally moved back home and settled in. Yes! fibromyalgia sucks and seems pretty common with the HepC. cold, damp, humid weather sets mine off. Tx is hard but it can be done and my hat goes off to anyone going thru it..it was a night mare for me, and I would never do standard tx again. i developed all kinds of ailments brought on by the HepC. my liver function test came back last week good.I did not get a viral load as it goes up n down anywaz. My chest xray shows mild degenrative spine. I needed a Tb clearance and a liver panel to be able to get my teeth cleaned at a college dental hygene class.Gotta do the chest xray b/c I had TB at 8yrs old and was in a sanitorium for over a year, so I always test positive with the skin test even though it is in-active. now I can get my teeth cleaned! YAY!! Everyone have a Happy Halloween and keep the faith!------------------------------------MEMBERS WITH

Hi Vera,

Not sure we've met yet..  My name is Teri and I was diagnosed in 2004 and went thru 48 weeks of tx in 2005-2006.  Luckily I cleared the virus and remain SVR.  Fibromyalgia set in for me during treatment.  I agree, the weather is a contributing factor.  I had been doing pretty good until the past week when the weather drastically changed here.  We went from fairly warm to almost warm to cool and damp to rain and cold and now it's back to cool and damp.  Since this mess of weather changed, I have been in pain like crazy.  Today I woke up and it feels like somebody beat me with a crowbar from my neck to my ankles.  I am walking like an 85 year old woman who can't find her walker!  The next few days are going to be very cold and windy so I'm sure I'm in for a good week or so more of pain.  Blah.  I hate it.

Treatment for me was 48 weeks of pure hell.  I am glad I can help these folks trying to get thru it out for a bit.  I'm glad you're here and very happy that you have settled in and are somewhere safe.  That's a big part to dealing with this disease process..  knowing you have a refuge.

Hugs,

Hello,

My name is Missy and now i'm really worried about starting treatment i've had fibro since i was 24 i'm now 42. i'm very concerned about how much worse the fibro is going to get, i already have a great deal of pain and fatigue! i've tried herbs, diet, and some exersise that i can tolerate. i dont know what else to do. I go to my liver doctor tomorrow to go over my ultrasound, and its the first time seeing this doctor. My family dr. found i had chronic hep b and chronic hep c! then he sent me to a gastroaligist (whatever it is ) then he sent me to a liver surgeon! too many doctors, but tomorrow's the day! i'm nervous yeah, i'm always nervous about illness it seems i've been coming up with a lot of new things lately. I was dignosed with Sarcoidosis, this summer, and now i have corpal tunnel and they want to do surgery ASAP
