Guest guest Posted August 17, 2010 Report Share Posted August 17, 2010 For those of you following, I did call my doctor and found out my viral load is 6.2 and I am in early stages of cirrhosis, though he keeps saying how my blood tests don't reflect that? This doctor totally annoys me, I have researched him and he is a highly respected doctor in his field. But his bed side manner sucks! and he only tells me what he feels like telling me. If it wasn't for this group, I wouldn't know what I know to ask. But I chose an HMO for our insurance and he is the guy I have to see and right now before starting tx I don't want to go through the hassle of contacting my insurance to change. I am lucky my insurance is covering almost all of my meds, my copay is 140 a month. I am so nervous about friday, but I am going to give it everything I've got and hope for the best. I am a daycare provider and since children are going back to school next week that I will only have 5 kids instead of 8..lol I hope that I can handle it. I will continue to update everyone and thank you all for the wonderful friendships and support you have given me.
