She's a new one for me. She is a RN that can prescribe medicines. We have a doctor shortage here. > > My male doctor gave me to her, because it was a female yeast issue, caused by Septra. Waited for the results of the culture to come back. Finally, feeling miserable i called them back. The receptionist tells me this new doctor sent me a letter. The culture came back NEG. Dont understand this? They took the culture when i was using the cream(clotrimazole). Which I am not a chemist, but that didnt seem right to me. And the doctor said, Oh that doesnt matter. > > This doctor wont return my calls. She gave me three doses of the diflucan, For three weeks. Plus nystatin ointment for the outside. > > my microbiologist friend told me to use the clotrimazole cream, not the doctor. Nothing is working. It just keeps burning. the only thing that helped alittle was the clotrimazole internal cream. > > For some reason the doctors do not want to presribe more anti fungals. I am new to candida, am sure its still there and it is real. > > For homepathic, experimented with ACV, Yogurt, herbs, oil of oregeno, gse, coconut oil and more. Probiotics. I'm trying. > > Heres my question? Would you guys *Trust* the culture taken while using the clotrimazole? I dont? anyone have any thoughts? If? it is killed off, It certainly is still on the skin. > > Should I treat myself, by buying my own anti fungals on line, or get a gyno and switch doctors. > > Reason i went to a doctor was for antifungals, and help that way. > > Is this yeast THIS hard to kill? > > Also have tried doing nothing for awhile and that didnt work either. In case it was skin irritation. ( nystatin seemed to irritate) > > I cant drive miles to get a naturopath, i go to the chiro 3 days a week, have a boyfriend who just had a heart attack. My chiro is wonderful, but candida is not his expertise. cindy > > >
