You're right Caren, when you have felt lousy for so long you can't help but think it could be something else. I have never thought cancer and I'm sure your mind is just playing tricks on you unless you have specific symptoms. If your blood work has come back normal, I would try not to worry about it.

My doctor diagnosed me with major depression 4 yrs ago and altho I agree with him I also knew there was more to my problems than just depression which lead me on my search and I found this group. Cancer is certainly something to be afraid of so I don't want to belittle it in any way but until you're actually diagnosed with it, steer your thoughts in another direction. You're only wearing yourself out. Focus on how good you'll feel once the implants are out. Take care and good luck with the tests this week. Jackie

Subject: help

Did anyone else feel like something else was wrong with them besides the implants. I have this fear of cancer or something horrible. I know I shouldn't think negative but when you've been sick for so long what else can you think. All my blood work was fine except the epstein barr. I should be going to get my MRI and EEG this week. I have 2 doctors appointments to, to see about a explant. I hope and pray thats all this is.Caren

Hi Caren,

I've been thinking of you today, knowing that you had your explant

scheduled. We haven't heard from you for a few days, and I was

hoping we could meet! I hope you are doing OK, as I know this was a

very frightening thing for you. Let us know how it went.

God bless

Patty

Hey Caren thanks so much for the positive feed back, it is nice to

hear that someone things I am doing good and that I am helping

someone !!!!! THANKS! you have been through allot too and it sounds

like you will come around, and we will conquer this crap. Like I said

before I think we are lucky that we still don't show signs of any

real diseases so I think we are just suffering from toxic illness

that with time and perserverence will go away completely, and no I do

not think it always has to take years.

I admit I get very tired sometimes, after a hectic schedule like

today I cam home and took a long nap, but that is healthy and good,

and I will get up and work out in the morning. I suggest if your at

al like me that you do your working out first thing, I know

personally by the end of the day I am way too tired to do it, but in

the am I kick butt ! HA! I have been back to my old job and visiting

people there that haven't seen me with out my C cups and everyone has

only told me how great I look and it felt good to just face my old

friends, some know, some don't and I suspect some know but don't say

anything, but at least I am no longer hiding in the hallways at work

from people in the other departments anymore (I work at a large

hospital)Any way I wear a waterbra,It looks nice. I discussed it with

my boyfriend, who is in another state and hasn't seen me yet without

the implants, and he is comfortable with whatever I decide to wear. I

am not sure, since it is another state where I know no one, if I will

still wear it or not, but I think I like the way I look with padding

and always wore one before so why not. What are your feelings on this

Caren? DO you wear the padding or not?

I also want to highly recomend mederma for the scars and be

persistent use it several time a day, I always put more on at night,

if I get up to pee or whatever it really seems to be helping, try it

if your Dr says it is ok, you will see results within the third month

big time. I must tell you I am not completely healed but I am such a

fighter I know I will wip this thing.

Ok so I leave for Idaho on the 22nd and then I will be making my

final decision as far as if I want to live there or not, I think I

already have that answer though, this man has touched my life

profoundly and loves me for me, not the boobs, ok ladies thanks for

listen ing, and Caren thanks for the positive feedback...jeep it up
