Guest guest
Duncan: In case of acute diarrhea or gut cramps we have to take the allopathic medicine such as Flagyl (Metranidazole). Its course is of 5 days to 7 days. Now two questions: #1. Its wise to take nystatin also. But should it be taken with Flagyl or after you stop Flagyl? l #2. When to start inulin and probiotics--after the course of Flagyl or parallel to Flagyl? As you know, Flagyl will kill both the good and bad bacteria. But candida is a different story. Candida forms spores and hence can't be killed by antibiotics. We have to take nystatin. Personally I can't tolerate Flagyl beyond one day. I lose appetite and feel nauseated on Flagyl. So I take an old medicine called Entraquinol (banned in many countries). My main enemy is E-Coli. Currently the lab test revealed that I am passing E-coli cysts in my stool. But I still have diarrhea. Doesn't it mean I have inflammed gut presently? Your comments please. Ratan.
