Guest guest
Dear Harold, As a long time user of this combination I will confess I faced the same problems. By now I mix the cottage cheese and flaxseed oil and then I add some frozen strawberries, crushed Pineapple, or something like that to make it taste good. Fresh pineapple is dandy, but may not be cheap. I also may add a little honey to the mix. I tried pears. They were too mild. Keep experimenting and you will find an answer. One thing I did early was put the cottage cheese in a blender and addid Golden oil. I had a whole blender full of stuff that tasted like Cod Liver Oil. I never tried that again. Guest guest
Hi Harold, Each evening i put 2 tbsps of flax oil in a bowl with 3 or 4 tbsps of soymilk powder or whey powder, it stirs into a creamy consistency easily, then fill with about 4 or 5 cups of green vegetable juices *sweetened with sweet potato and an apple*. Drink it quickly within 15 minutes to preserve vitamins and minerals. All my lymph nodes have shrunk from around 3 cm to lentil size in 8 weeks. I also grind 15-20 apricot kernels and add them to my fruit and soymilk blends every morning. Hope this helps, Skye > I get so discouraged, have so many bottles, get tired of > taking them. i have had shingles ( herpes zoster} for about > nine months now which came about after my diag. of Low > Grade B cell Non Hodgkins Lymphoma which as far as I can > discern has never given me pain. Guest guest
Hi, My name is and have been using flax seed oil and cottage cheese for several months. I use it for lots of things. But I find that when I what it as a sauce over steamed vegetables, I just use 4 ounces of water (milk you wish), 4 ounces of no fat cottage cheese, 1.5 ounces of flax seed oil, and 1/6 ounce of vitamin A. I put this in a blender and whip for 15 to 20 seconds. Love the stuff. You can also add some other ingredients to enhance the taste. I use several herbs and some sea salt. Enjoy, W. I've been giving my 6 yr. old son flaxseed oil but I can't get him to eat cottage cheese. He has a G-Tube that I give all his meds. If I could get the cottage cheese and flaxseed oil thin and watery I could put it in his tube but I've had no success with it. Any suggestion and does it matter what kind of cottage cheese it is Thank you mari

Guest guest
Have been on Cottage Cheese 1/4 cup mixed with tbsp of Flax seed Oil. (organic) one serving per day as a anti-oxidant....cancer preventive. I haven't had cancer, but my husband died of pancreatic cancer last year. Seems I get a weakish feeling or not so good feeling when I'm on it. Wondering if I'm doing more harm than good. Not everything is good for everybody. Guest guest
Hi Rhonda! You can certainly use *flavored* yogurt in the cottage cheese/yogurt mixture - that's what my wife and I always use. We use a variety of flavors; the yogurts we are all fat free and sugar free. But they do have flavor. Also, we've chosen a low fat, " no added salt " cottage cheese, having noticed that many low fat or fat free foods have quite a bit of sodium. I hope that helps! Guest guest
If you mix it with a tube of Go-Gurt(I love the blue rasp.) it is quite good. You can even sprinkle some of the sugar free Jello mix (not the pudding, the jello)into the cottage cheese if you need to. It will color it the Jello color, green, orange, etc but it tastes good.
