Guest guest
I've been taking abx for almost 2 years, continue to get better. Lyme treatment ends when you are symptom free for 2 mos. and your CD57 is over 120 or relapse is inevitable. I know some who have treated for 5 yrs. There are many infections besides Lyme that require long term antibiotics. People take them for acne for their whole life! The longer I am on them the faster my body responds when I start a new one, and less herxing. There is no scientific proof that long term abx are harmful, on the contrary- many have made near miraculous recoveries. I did herbals alone for 6 months and went backward, 6 mos more of treatment I now have to make up for. For mild cases herbals alone can be effective, but most people repond best to combination treatment. Guest guest
Abx therapy strengthens the immune system. It knocks down the infections so that your immune system can take charge. The First thing the Lyme bacteria does is paralyze the white blood cells- so that you have no immune system.AaOn Dec 13, 2011, at 12:59 PM, healinghope <mfrreman@...> wrote: Molds and mildew are fungi-like growths whose spores float in the air. Guest guest
Although antibiotics are actually designed to help the immune system work well, this is so only when the usage is for a short duration. Studies show that long-term antibiotics actually suppress the immune system. There are several reasons that are responsible for the negative effects of antibiotics. Firstly, it is important to comprehend that actually antibiotics do not make the immune system stronger. They merely act as a replacement for one of its functions, which is destruction of harmful bacteria. However, just like an organ or a muscle that weakens when not in constant use, the same principal stands true for the immune system as well. Therefore, when an introduced agent does one of its jobs, the immune system performs that job feebly once the agent leaves the body. Thus, one must be careful with the consumption of antibiotics as they weaken the system, meaning that the patient is more prone to infection than before he or she took the antibiotics. Temporarily, the infection may be killed, but one can get re-infected easily. When this re-infection is combined with a more resistant strain of the bacteria that caused the original infection, it can be very difficult to deal with. This is why someone who takes antibiotics to cure a bacteria based disease may catch the same disease, only with more severe symptoms, at a later time. Secondly, antibiotics cannot differentiate between the harmful bacteria and helpful bacteria and cells. Therefore, they end up killing both kinds of bacteria. Certain strains of bacteria in the digestive tract are essential to digest food and produce healthy vitamins. The destruction of such bacteria results in vitamin loss, diarrhea, parasitic infection and the development of allergies. Thirdly, over the years, research in the field of Biology has highlighted that the evolution of bacteria, viruses, and hosts have more or less been in synchronization with each other. Every time a bacterium or virus became slowly stronger, the immune system has shown proportional reactions by becoming stronger as well. However, an over dosage of antibiotics can create stronger strains of bacteria that even a healthy immune system is not prepared to fight. http://www.scumdoctor.com/vaccination/immune-system/Effects-Of-Antibiotics-On-Im\ mune-System.html > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >>** > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >>Hi all > > > > > > > >>As u know im hoping to move this week throwin all fabrics > > > > > clothes > > > > > > > shoes > > > > > > > >>most furniture out apart from wash machine steamer n > > > hoover n tv > > > > > > > >>And also takin food toileteries n dishes etc > > > > > > > >>But scared bout washing machine n hoover being safe > > > > > > > >>They only couple months old so cant aford throw > > > > > > > >>But wud it be enuf to spray disinfectant? > > > > > > > >>Secondly im totaly freaked out as toes sorely bitten > > > lastnight n > > > > > > > beforw i > > > > > > > >>wenr bed saw the tiny black dots under the skin under my > > > toes n > > > > > > > picked out > > > > > > > >>Have been told the dots are not the mites but saw black dots > > > > > > > buried in hand > > > > > > > >>once also > > > > > > > >>Gettin rid all shoes when move, have huge problem toes bitten > > > > > when > > > > > > > wear > > > > > > > >>socks n shoes n tights so have go barefoot in flat for my > > > sanity > > > > > > > >>Now....im very scared with the burrowing black dots that the > > > > > mites > > > > > > > could be > > > > > > > >>under my skin > > > > > > > >>And made apointment c doctor today > > > > > > > >>Kaz told me last night invermectin very strong stuff > > > > > > > >>But is that what id ask doc for? > > > > > > > >>Or whAt else? > > > > > > > >>What if i get rid o nearly everythin n they inside me? > > > > > > > >>Also doc looked at me as if mad the time before > > > > > > > >>May not get anything from her > > > > > > > >>Will i order sulphur tabs n diatemeous earth to take > > > internaly? > > > > > > > >>Already on ac vinegar, baking sida, dida anti fungals > > > > > > > >>Thanks > > > > > > > >>C > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
There are references on ILADS.org showing studies on how long term antibiotic therapy is effective for chronic infections- how borrelia and coinfections supress the immune system... My personal experience- since treating with antibiotics my killer cell count has gone consistently higher. Just had labs done last Wed. We'll get the results this week. I had no immune system 2 years ago.AandrayaOn Dec 13, 2011, at 2:18 PM, healinghope <mfrreman@...> wrote: Antibiotic Overuse & The Immune System, Aa I would like to see some medical or scientific data supporting the immune system is strengthened by long term antibiotic use. http://immunedisorders.homestead.com/antibiotics.html > > > > > > >> > > > > > > >>** > > > > > > >> > > > > > > >> > > > > > > >>Hi all > > > > > > >>As u know im hoping to move this week throwin all fabrics > > > > clothes > > > > > > shoes > > > > > > >>most furniture out apart from wash machine steamer n > > hoover n tv > > > > > > >>And also takin food toileteries n dishes etc > > > > > > >>But scared bout washing machine n hoover being safe > > > > > > >>They only couple months old so cant aford throw > > > > > > >>But wud it be enuf to spray disinfectant? > > > > > > >>Secondly im totaly freaked out as toes sorely bitten > > lastnight n > > > > > > beforw i > > > > > > >>wenr bed saw the tiny black dots under the skin under my > > toes n > > > > > > picked out > > > > > > >>Have been told the dots are not the mites but saw black dots > > > > > > buried in hand > > > > > > >>once also > > > > > > >>Gettin rid all shoes when move,have huge problem toes bitten > > > > when > > > > > > wear > > > > > > >>socks n shoes n tights so have go barefoot in flat for my > > sanity > > > > > > >>Now....im very scared with the burrowing black dots that the > > > > mites > > > > > > could be > > > > > > >>under my skin > > > > > > >>And made apointment c doctor today > > > > > > >>Kaz told me last night invermectin very strong stuff > > > > > > >>But is that what id ask doc for? > > > > > > >>Or whAt else? > > > > > > >>What if i get rid o nearly everythin n they inside me? > > > > > > >>Also doc looked at me as if mad the time before > > > > > > >>May not get anything from her > > > > > > >>Will i order sulphur tabs n diatemeous earth to take > > internaly? > > > > > > >>Already on ac vinegar,baking sida,dida anti fungals > > > > > > >>Thanks > > > > > > >>C > > > > > > >> > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
I totally disagree with this article. Absolutely not. Seen so many cases that show the contrary. People infected with multiple pathogens for years and then treated with long term antibiotics and recovered. People in wheelchairs, people diagnosed with MS, CFS, Fibromyalgia, psychiatric disorders... now fully recovered and some healthier than they have ever been their whole adult life. All treated with multiple long term antibiotics, some even on IV. Average 3-5 years. My doctor is one of the treating MDs but there are others as well. Not only am I suggesting long term, but multiple abx used in combinations to hit various strains and forms of bacteria, fungi, etc. These are scare tactics by big pharma. There is little money to be made in abx treatment because the most effective abx are mostly the old ones- and dirt cheap. Also, antibiotics aren't life long treatments like many drugs that just trea the symptoms.AaOn Dec 13, 2011, at 2:23 PM, healinghope <mfrreman@...> wrote: Although antibiotics are actually designed to help the immune system work well, this is so only when the usage is for a short duration. Guest guest
Yes, I am sooo much better. I stopped abx a couple times... not helpful. Now I know more people who have recovered and see that it can be done. I am staying compliant with my therapy and will continue until I am back to my good health. If I didn't know of so many people who have done it, I doubt I'd still be taking abx, it's been 2 years now. I am told min. 3-5 years. I know some that stopped early and relapsed. The key for me is to be in contact with former patients who are 100% now, the ones that were healed by my present doctor. If not, I wouldn't think it was possible.AaOn Dec 13, 2011, at 2:37 PM, healinghope <mfrreman@...> wrote: Aa I agree while the antibiotics are used the body is using the Abx as immune system. However, an over dosage of antibiotics can create stronger strains of bacteria that even a healthy immune system is not prepared to fight. >> http://www.scumdoctor.com/vaccination/immune-system/Effects-Of-Antibiotics-On-Im\ mune-System.html >> >> >> > > > > > > > >> >> > > > > > > > >>** >> > > > > > > > >> >> > > > > > > > >> >> > > > > > > > >>Hi all >> > > > > > > > >>As u know im hoping to move this week throwin all fabrics >> > > > > > clothes >> > > > > > > > shoes >> > > > > > > > >>most furniture out apart from wash machine steamer n >> > > > hoover n tv >> > > > > > > > >>And also takin food toileteries n dishes etc >> > > > > > > > >>But scared bout washing machine n hoover being safe >> > > > > > > > >>They only couple months old so cant aford throw >> > > > > > > > >>But wud it be enuf to spray disinfectant? >> > > > > > > > >>Secondly im totaly freaked out as toes sorely bitten >> > > > lastnight n >> > > > > > > > beforw i >> > > > > > > > >>wenr bed saw the tiny black dots under the skin under my >> > > > toes n >> > > > > > > > picked out >> > > > > > > > >>Have been told the dots are not the mites but saw black dots >> > > > > > > > buried in hand >> > > > > > > > >>once also >> > > > > > > > >>Gettin rid all shoes when move,have huge problem toes bitten >> > > > > > when >> > > > > > > > wear >> > > > > > > > >>socks n shoes n tights so have go barefoot in flat for my >> > > > sanity >> > > > > > > > >>Now....im very scared with the burrowing black dots that the >> > > > > > mites >> > > > > > > > could be >> > > > > > > > >>under my skin >> > > > > > > > >>And made apointment c doctor today >> > > > > > > > >>Kaz told me last night invermectin very strong stuff >> > > > > > > > >>But is that what id ask doc for? >> > > > > > > > >>Or whAt else? >> > > > > > > > >>What if i get rid o nearly everythin n they inside me? >> > > > > > > > >>Also doc looked at me as if mad the time before >> > > > > > > > >>May not get anything from her >> > > > > > > > >>Will i order sulphur tabs n diatemeous earth to take >> > > > internaly? >> > > > > > > > >>Already on ac vinegar,baking sida,dida anti fungals >> > > > > > > > >>Thanks >> > > > > > > > >>C >> > > > > > > > >> >> > > > > > > > >> >> > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > >
Guest guest
That was supposed to be Healing Lyme (not Lye)! From: Goldstein@...To: bird mites Sent: Thursday, December 15, 2011 6:24:54 AMSubject: Re: Re: very scared I don't know that there is any proof that MMS gets rid of Lyme Disease. If there is a study or something of that sort, I'd be interested in reading it. I know MMS does help kill fungus and some bacterias, but as far as killing off all the stages of Lyme Disease, I am unsure about that. MMS is also hard on the immune system as are antibiotics; but as I see it, MMS and antibiotics help the immune system and hinder it as well, since both and other things as well, kill off good and bad bacteria. Antibiotics can put one into an imbalanced state - well known - but as far as alternatives to kill Lyme Disease and certain very persistent coinfections, I am not sure that herbals can fully do the job, or chemicals like MMS. I've read Healing Lye by Buhner and several other books on Lyme Disease treatment now and belong to several Lyme Disease groups. l I do not know of anyone who has really gotten great recovery from the herbal route with this disease. I do believe that it helps immensely to get the body into the best balance possible and the human body will fight some of this off, but once Lyme Disease has become firmly established and the various stages of the disease, antibiotics are necessary. If MMS were good for killing off Lyme Disease, why wouldn't the ILADS people be talking about it at the conferences. These doctors are not afraid to try whatever works. So my take on the situation with Lyme Disease is that MMS, and antibiotics help and hinder the immune system at the same time. I feel that MMS can put the body out of balance just like antibiotics can do. I have also found this to be true with large doses of colloidal silver. Nothing gets rid of a urinary infection faster than colloidal silver or sore throat! But you can be left with thrush or an overgrowth from taking it for too many days. Guest guest
You probably will not get an overgrowth of yeast or internal molds from taking MMS, however. Not like antibiotics. With antibiotics you must not only take probiotics but for long term use must take an anti-fungal too. If you don't, your gut will suffer and fungal issues get worse. Guest guest
- I just listened to Dr. ' lecture from Oct. For chronic tick borne infections- a 7 yr old who came to him with severe condition he intended to treat with multiple abx for 5-6 yrs. He has 100% success rate and has treated over 10,000 kids with tick borne diseases. Unbelievable. I am told once I get the babesia fully treated my immune markers should jump and the other infections will be easier to treat.Aandraya On Dec 15, 2011, at 8:27 AM, Goldstein@... wrote: For those of us with long term chronic Lyme Disease antibiotics are the best route. Guest guest
Also, modify your diet. I take probiotics and an antifungal. I have thrush that comes and goes, better when I don't eat sugar. The grain free diet was helpful too. Funny, because my gut and intestinal health is better now after 2 yrs abx therapy. Before treatment I had gut issues and for years I pooped once every 3-4 days and thought that was normal. Chronic infections like Lyme mess up the gut and intestinal tract. Guest guest
I was on that for 6 months + - I still have a ton of it and could start it up again, but I just requested Itraconazole from Dr. M so will be starting that and checking my liver function in January. She wants me to continue with the Doxy and Rifampin for the time being. Eventually I'll have to do Babesia treatment, but I don't know if I have any of the symptoms of Babs. I've received many emails describing symptoms and I don't think I have any of the symptoms. I had just about all the symptoms of Bart and LD.From: "Aandraya" <aandraya@...>bird mites Sent: Thursday, December 15, 2011 8:14:30 PMSubject: Re: Re: very scared Might be time to switch up the antibiotics, ? Guest guest
Aandraya, I don't remember the herx because that was 2 years ago. Guest guest
I was scared, too. And watched a black speck disappear under my skin - felt nothing. I don't have a rash, bites, bumps, etc. No physical evidence. But you bet - seeing that scared me a lot! My clothes are fine after moving a couple of times. The same ones that used to itch and burn when it first happened. Bactrim DS is an antibiotic with sulpher in it. Order on mydispensary dot com. A big box for cheap. Ivermectin, liquid for animals, can be bought at a feed store or ordered online at Cal Vet Supply. (Google will find the exact website.) The dosage I took was 1 cc per 100 lbs. of my weight. Put it in juice or Vitamin H2O. Started at every day, then down to 3 x weekly. It kills animal mites and definitely helped me. If you feel allergy symptoms, try Benadryl and/or Zyrtec (D). That's all I've tried as far as meds. I don't want to overload my body with drugs. Vitamins and supplements are great. Especially cranberry capsules. I am interested in trying a new supplement I heard about in an email from someone I know. But I hardly believe that this happened to me 3 and a half years ago. Hope this helps! > > Hi all > As u know im hoping to move this week throwin all fabrics clothes shoes most furniture out apart from wash machine steamer n hoover n tv > And also takin food toileteries n dishes etc > But scared bout washing machine n hoover being safe > They only couple months old so cant aford throw > But wud it be enuf to spray disinfectant? > Secondly im totaly freaked out as toes sorely bitten lastnight n beforw i wenr bed saw the tiny black dots under the skin under my toes n picked out > Have been told the dots are not the mites but saw black dots buried in hand once also > Gettin rid all shoes when move, have huge problem toes bitten when wear socks n shoes n tights so have go barefoot in flat for my sanity > Now....im very scared with the burrowing black dots that the mites could be under my skin > And made apointment c doctor today > Kaz told me last night invermectin very strong stuff > But is that what id ask doc for? > Or whAt else? > What if i get rid o nearly everythin n they inside me? > Also doc looked at me as if mad the time before > May not get anything from her > Will i order sulphur tabs n diatemeous earth to take internaly? > Already on ac vinegar, baking sida, dida anti fungals > Thanks > C >
