I have info for Doug and anyone else who uses laxatives:

This study found his polyethylene glycol 3350 (PEG) laxative reduces bowel

lining repair:

@Doug: Your leaky gut syndrome brought on by diet and low probiotic flourish, is

exacerbated by the laxative, so you'll never get well when you're using

laxatives. Now that you know, take another look at supporting your bowel ecology

to cure the leaky gut syndrome and the rest of your symptoms.

By the way, a magnesium supplement is inadequate to produce a laxative effect;

the dose is along the lines of 10-15 grams. Try a rounded tbsp of magnesium

sulfate in a glass of water a few hours apart, them neck it back to regularity,

which should be about a tsp daily or less, even while you're sorting out your

bowel dysbiosis.

all good,

Duncan
