Guest guest
Greetings All A couple of you were asking what I meant by muscle testing. Here is a basic article to explain how it is done! Muscle Testing, the Sway Method Muscle Testing, or Energy Testing, is the response of our individual energy systems to the vibrations of certain substances. All substances, as well as our own bodies, have vibrations, which are like electrical charges, that are inherent in all life forms, even plants. Substances that have been killed by micro-waving or irradiation do not contain such vibrations. Our muscles respond to many external, as well as internal influences, by becoming stronger or weaker. In muscle testing, the change in muscle strength from normal strength, to weaker or stronger strength, or staying the same, is in response to an item tested. This can indicate whether the item is good or bad for you. Sometimes a substance may test good or bad, but later it may change depending upon the status of your body at a given time. It can be influenced by what you have consumed, by the levels of nutrients in your body at a given time, and also by the amount of stress in your life. It is best to relax as much as possible before testing. You can test foods, supplements, herbs, etc., which may either strengthen or weaken your muscles in response to them. The reason for the changes in muscle strength can be explained by the influence the energy contained in a particular item has on the flow of energy of the body. A food or supplement may not influence muscle strength so your energy level is the same, or it can increase or decrease muscle strength. When muscle strength is not changed it means that item is okay for you but it may not be extremely beneficial at that time, but it not particularly positive either. If muscle strength decreases it means the item tested is not good for you, particularly “at that time”, but it may change later in that day, or even the next day. Our bodies are always changing. Sometimes your body has adequate levels of a certain substance and it may not require it at the given time. Later you might find your body does need it. If muscle strength increases it means the item tested is needed by your body at that time. This could also change after you’ve consumed that item. Sometimes certain substances work together, especially when testing supplements, so testing them separately will not give you an accurate test. For example, calcium requires magnesium, phosphorus, zinc and vitamin D in order to be utilized and absorbed in the body. Self testing has been found to be more inaccurate than having another person perform the muscle testing on the individual. This is because you may really want an item to test positively or negatively and your emotions do influence the test results. THE SWAY TEST - A Self-Testing Method for Vitamins, Supplements and Food You can put foods, liquids, small pills or granules in a small plastic bag so you can hold them in your hand while testing. * Stand straight, with your feet no more than shoulder width apart. Either test barefoot or in flat shoes such as sneakers. High heeled shoes are not recommended. * It is best to stand in the kitchen with your back close to, but not touching the counter, so you can catch yourself it you fall back. * Place the substance you are testing in one hand and close your fist over it. Hold this hand up to your heart center, which is your thymus gland (just behind your breast bone). Then place your other hand over the first one. * State in your mind: " Is this good for my body at this time. " * Become still, centered, close your eyes, take a deep breath, release it and let go. * After a few moments you become aware of your body either being pulled forward or falling backwards. * If you feel yourself falling forward that is a positive reaction, which your body needs at that time. * If you feel yourself going backward that is a negative response, which your body does not need at that time. * If you do not seem to sway either backward nor forward that is a neutral response, so you could have it or not at that time, because it not negative nor positive. * Sometimes when you don't get a reaction, or you are not sure what answer your body is giving you, you may not be getting a true reading, therefore do the following: Perform the test again. Make sure to take a deep breath and clear your head. Drink water because your energy system may be dehydrated. If you can, take the vitamins or supplements out of the plastic container and place one pill or tablet in your hand (not recommended in health food stores). Program your body to go forward for a positive answer and backward for a negative answer. I had to do this when my body started swaying sideways! Simple tell your body " Go forward for a yes answer, " and " Go backward for a no answer. " Then test your body by saying " yes " and waiting for a response, then saying " no " and waiting for a response. Once your body continually sways forward for " yes " and backward for " no " you can be more assured of a true reading. Remember the body is electrical, energetic, physical and metabolic and it is always changing. What is good for you one day may not be as beneficial the next. Also if you overload on certain foods or vitamins, it can create a toxic, or allergic, reaction to our energy system. Therefore, it is best to test before you consume foods or supplements, and do the test at various times. Test your vitamins, supplements and other products on a regular basis, or at least when you buy a new supply. Make sure to test different brands of the same product to find which brand is best for your body. With foods, test them at different stages of processing or cooking. Although raw green beans may test positive, canned or micro-waved beans may test negatively. Many fresh foods in regular grocery stores are irradiated without our knowledge, which is the same micro-waving, and they may be loaded with pesticides so they will test negative. But these same foods that are certified organic and not irradiated from the health food store could test positive. Although you can learn the Sway Test in a few minutes, it may take some practice before you feel comfortable using it. Since this method is always available, day or night, requires no instruments, and is free, you can practice it regularly with almost any product or food. The more you practice, the more accurate the results will be. Using the Sway Test to Determine Dosage: * Hold one item (if liquid it can be in a small plastic bag, i.e. 1 tablespoon), capsule or tablet (or a combination) in your hand and state, " Is this good for my body at this time. " * If you sway forward, add another amount, i.e. bag of liquid supplement, capsule or tablet, and state again, " Is this is good for my body at this time. " * Keep adding, one by one, until you sway backward. Then you have exceeded the optimum dosage by one. * Also ask the body, " I take this dose once a day. " * If you go forward, state, " I take this dose twice a day " and so on. * When you go backward, the previous statement that tested positive is best for your body. Remember – Sometimes you need to test more than one type of supplement, or even test all of the supplements you plan to take that day together. Your body is constantly changing, so your optimum dosage may also change. References 1. Test Before You Ingest; http://www.tapintoheaven.com/2stuff/stufstest.shtml 2.
