Hi

I have been on the Candida diet for 6 weeks now. I am progressing, however, I

seem to have small relapses every week or so. I am taking Sacchr. B and

Probiotics.

For me this all started when I was on 2 rounds of antibiotics. After 9 days of

cypro and amoxicillian I had nausea so bad I had to stay home from work. After

that I stopped the antibotics (as per my MD) but after a week was still not

feeling better (cramps and diahrea with the nausea). I went back to my MD and

she put me on Nexium and said I had GERD. I took the Nexium for 2 weeks and

still felt aweful in fact worse. So I stopped it.

I still had problems and sought out an ND. She put me on the Candida diet and

started me on the supplements above. I changed ND's because the first one seemed

unavailabe for consultations. I have a new one that I am very happy with.

After some blood work they found that my stress hormones very high so now I am

on a supplement for adrenal and immune support.

My specific questions are this.

Can my occasional days of feeling poorly again be die off? I ask after reading

alot of information and some say that die off happens at the beginning.

Is there a degrees of Candida? Mild, moderate, severe?

Thanks in advance. I am still in a state of stress over this process and still a

bit " blue " wondering when I might feel normal again...
