Guest guest
Incredible. Absolutely incredible. Upon the advice of a friend who got relief from her non-systemic candida by bringing her M.D. a copy of The Yeast Connection by Dr. Crook--which M.D. then wrote her a 6-month prescription for nystatin which I understand is *not* a " statin " drug, but was named after the New York State Health Department--I, today, did similarly. I brought my sliding-scale clinic M.D. a used copy of Dr. (M.D.) Crook's book [which he refused], a copy of the Leaky Gut info recently posted on this candidiasis web site, and notes about my long history of text-book systemic candida symptoms.  Well. He barely touched my stomach in his " exam; " and told me I absolutely did *not* have systemic candida. Trying not to laugh, but smiling, I said, " What symptoms would you be looking for to diagnose me, then, if I did have it? "  He said, I would have had to have had an operation, and a catheterization too I believe is precisely what he said! [i have had neither.]  So you all, if you have: brain fog, chronic fatigue, flu-like symptoms, poor immune function, bloating, gassiness, poor digestion—and I could say worlds more---please note that according to this medical doctor, you DON’T have candida! UNLESS you have had: an operation OR a catheterization! [Of course I am just kidding. The man obviously knows NOTHING YET about candida—and today’s visit just showed me how grossly IGNORANT the medical profession seems to be as a whole about natural diagnoses and cures. AMAZING!]  (And **he shot himself in the foot; I now know what to pray for!)  ON A GOOD NOTE: The clinic Director sat down with me and listened to what I had to say for at least 20 minutes, and was not only genuinely interested in my statements and findings (as in, “lactose intolerant people†can indeed ingest properly cultured milk to their health and benefit)—he interjected into our conversation relevant points letting me know he was knowledgeable and cognizant about yeast problems. (God bless him!)  [He DID accept the copy of The Yeast Connection, book, too! J]  Louise  We will overcome some day.  PS Bless him for this, the “ignorant re: yeast probs†doctor *did* at least write me a year’s prescription for my thyroid meds, and (mercifully) did NOT require (would have been totally unnecessary) blood work. He *does* get points for that!!!
