Hi Listmates,

My son has been on Diflucan (50mg /day) for the past 8 days. The anal red ring

(which he has always had) disappeared completely on the 3 day of being on the

Diflucan, but for the last 2 days, I notice the anal red ring has returned, and

seemed to be getting more red by the day.

Does that mean I need to up his Diflucan dosage? Is the return of the red ring

a sign that the yeast is flaring up and the Diflucan being

unable to control it?

He has at least 1 BM everyday. His BM for the first 2-3 days whilst on Diflucan

had a lot of dead yeast (and longer ones too) but for the last few days, I think

he is excreting less yeast, and the yeast fibres are much shorter and more fine.

On a behaviour level, he seems to be a bit more calm for the past 2 days and

less emotional though he looks tired.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much

Regards,

, I just saw some shots of strep A infection around the anus that fits the

description. Regardless of what it is, ozonated olive oil will kill it in one or

two treatments, but that's not really the optimal treatment we know. Diflucan

won't touch it anyway; maybe you're pursuing multiple bowel infections that

Candida is secondary to.
