Guest guest
People who live to be 100 have well above normal glutathione for their age. Undenatured whey and selenium allow you to keep glutathione high and oxidative stress low. Here's data: " in comparison with young healthy female adults the centenarians had significantly higher red blood cell glutathione reductase and catalase activities and higher, although insignificantly, serum vitamin E level. " http://www.actabp.pl/pdf/2_2000/281.pdf ------ " The range of Glutathione Reductase activity was shifted toward higher values in the centenarian group than in the younger (age 60-79)group and those centenarians having the best functional capacity tended to have the highest GR activity " http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12675104 --------------- " ...centenarians exhibit a high activity of glutathione reductase in red blood cells. In this study, those centenarians having the best cognitive and physical functional capacity tended to have the highest activity of this enzyme.[6] " http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11051193 Duncan
Guest guest
Duncan, You need to look at the real time line of the history of whey. Whey was never a food in the human diet until the late 80's in the commercial world. Whey was always fed to the pig or chickens in time of old or just dumped out. Whey was known in the old world before industrialization as a health hazard. So, please, will you please look at the whey issue, it paralleles the soy issue. The industrialists are making money on there industrial waste and calling it food and the humans in the mass consciousness of the plastic world are so dumbed down they believe anything they are told. This is my reality. Whey is toxic to humans.PERIOD! Just follow the money. Guest guest
Wil, two ancient Italian sayings on whey: " If you want to live for a long time, eat your vegetables and drink whey " , and " If we all drank more whey the doctors would be bankrupt " . With respect, people knew about whey long before you came along and " followed the money " . Whey is an obligate food for mammals and they do not outgrow the ability to utilize it. That it has pronounced benefits has been seen in tens of thousands in over 10 years of practice and research. I think it speaks for itself. I've read lots of research on whey and glutathione in the last 10 years, and I've seen people consistently get well using this food, and I have to disagree with you, but you do what you like based on the same data.
