Guest guest
Bonnie: To give it a purpose like " to heal the gut " is the dumbed-down response. Other fatty acids such as acetate and propionate are good for that purpose as well, as is undenatured whey. All three fatty acids are made primarily by food fermentation by probiotic organisms; they are the main foods of the cells of the intestinal wall. This is discussed pretty thoroughly in Tungland's Comprehensive Scientific Review, first link in my inulin references: http://tinyurl.com/inulin-references all good, Duncan > > > > > Butyrex and can bought to take as a supplement. My doctor says it is TO HEAL > the gut. Is this true or not Duncan? > _____ >
