Guest guest
Hi Caroline, I've totally experienced this and I don't know what to think of it. A long time ago it happened when I ate popcorn -- way before candida, like 25 years ago, and I thought I was having a heart attack. These days it seems just random, not in relation to what I eat, and I can't tell what triggers it, and my heart seems to stop and then beat only really faintly, or pound and pound. I've had my heart checked out and they say it's in great shape. But that popcorn time was really obvious and actually corn was one of the first things I noticed bothered me. After I got candida and ate " bad " food it happened sometimes also. Now it doesn't happen so often and only when I'm sitting or lying down. Weird. Maybe you do have a problem with buckwheat? ________________________________ From: Caroline Croon <carolinecroon@...> candidiasis Sent: Wed, September 1, 2010 1:39:21 PM Subject: heart pulse-intolerance  hello everyone I have a question, I often have my heart pulse going faster after I have eaten and wondered if it was always linked to an intolerance? I dont have to count it as I can feel it right away, it's really disturbing. has anyone experienced that before? I know it's a sign of intolerance but I wondered if it was always the case. I have to admit I have it esp if I eat grains like bread etc but even with buckwheat and I'm not intolerant to it I think. what are your thoughts on this? Guest guest
Yep, Many many experience this rather common problem. Many times heart races more in the night than day time, Beta blockers are given to block the extra pulses. It could be sinus tachycardia, triggered by allergy/intolerance. Magnesium supplements do help, like Milk of magnesia syrup/tablet in doses which will not trigger loose motions. Google " Sinus tachycardia " for more info. Guest guest
hey , i think what you experienced is extra systoles, it's when ur heart is pounding weirdly like it jumps one beat out of two, i have that too but it is not related to food i think. what I meant was a weird sensation after eating, the heart going faster and i dont know the weird sensation to not beeing able to breathe properly.. anyway I'll take a test that I found where u have to take ur pule in the morning, before and after eating and write it down and they explain how to interpret it, now the second explanation would be that candidas being fed by carbs would cause this reaction, cos buckwheat is gluten free it would be weird to be allergic to that! u're right, i probably have candidas i have realised this lately as i have been eating badly and had weird things going on with me.. also i think i saw it in my stool once but i'll never know if it was candidas.. god i love carbs so much and it's so frustrating to not be alowed to eat some. I'll have to use EFT to help me then. ________________________________ From: Myslis <smyslis1@...> candidiasis Sent: Thu, September 2, 2010 12:11:35 AM Subject: Re: heart pulse-intolerance Hi Caroline, I've totally experienced this and I don't know what to think of it. Guest guest
Hi Caroline, I have had this heart thing too. Thing is I have had it as a healing reaction and as a reaction when I've eaten something bad I think. I specifically remember getting it after eating avocado, usually everytime, but after a while it stopped happening. I think it was a healing reaction to the good healthy fat of the avocado! > > hello everyone > > I have a question, I often have my heart pulse going faster after I have eaten > and wondered if it was always linked to an intolerance? Guest guest
No kidding, it's a bitch to give up carbs. Really the only thing that bothers me about it now is that no one else I know eats that way and I think that's the main source of my occasional cravings. I feel very isolated.  The other day I read about some people who follow the Paleo diet and they have a group sort of, I wish I knew them.   On the other hand, maybe you're one of those people who'd be okay with carbs if you took anti-fungals as well. I mean not sweet stuff, but just rice and whatnot. I have no idea if that approach really works, but an M.D. I saw swore his patients were good with it. I didn't try it because I didn't want to take the ketonazole which was his drug of choice, and also, I didn't think that I had any trouble killing the candida in other ways -- my problem then was that when I did, I had all these weird heart issues and I was convinced every time that I was going to die. That's gone away now. Are you in the Netherlands? Or Germany? That systolic stuff is interesting, it sounds kind of like me but my heart also just races and pounds sometimes. Have you done the pulse test yet? How's the EFT working? Do you go to any support groups other than on-line?  ________________________________ From: Caroline Croon <carolinecroon@...> candidiasis Sent: Thu, September 2, 2010 2:51:41 AM Subject: Re: heart pulse-intolerance hey , i think what you experienced is extra systoles, it's when ur heart is pounding weirdly like it jumps one beat out of two, i have that too but it is not related to food i think. what I meant was a weird sensation after eating, the heart going faster and i dont know the weird sensation to not beeing able to breathe properly.. anyway I'll take a test that I found where u have to take ur pule in the morning, before and after eating and write it down and they explain how to interpret it, now the second explanation would be that candidas being fed by carbs would cause this reaction, cos buckwheat is gluten free it would be weird to be allergic to that! u're right, i probably have candidas i have realised this lately as i have been eating badly and had weird things going on with me.. also i think i saw it in my stool once but i'll never know if it was candidas.. god i love carbs so much and it's so frustrating to not be alowed to eat some. Guest guest
well i had an igg tests and they show no gluten or buckwheat intolerance so my heart going faster is because of candidas I think, not the food itself. I guess it's because Im feeding the candida directly. Not sure though. God I'm so confused!!!!! my test also say I'm slightly casein intolerant, so my doc says I should give up dairies altogether, dont know what to do really as Ive become addicted to them. I'm gutted. At the same time all this is influecing my immune system which according the tests and the lab comments is " chronically deficient " . cant get rid of EBV and I have thyroid antibodies. So al this is linked that's why I want to do it right by my body, I want to recover now I'm sick with all this really, god I4m spending my time searching what to do what to eat what to taer instead of enjoying mysekf! well u know what it's like. sorry for this, I dont like complaining but I'm so fed up today! I think that I'll still eat dairies now and then but much less. I4ll still eat carbs but in small portions. And I4ll use EFT as much as possible and I4m sure I'll heal this way. What about you? I also have my heart racing for a few seconds all of a sudden then it stops, I hate it cos I feel faint but it's very quick so it's ok. I have extra systoles as well, I guess it's also caused by stress. carox ________________________________ From: Myslis <smyslis1@...> candidiasis Sent: Wed, September 8, 2010 1:52:16 AM Subject: Re: heart pulse-intolerance No kidding, it's a bitch to give up carbs.
