We had briefly discussed butytrate as a Crohn's treatment. If that's what

Butyrex is, OK we're on the same page.

Butyrate is part of a lot of molecules in the body including the

neurotransmitter GABA. GABA dose for sleep is ca. 200 mg/day and butyrate given

for Crohn's disease is 4 g./day, 20 times the concentration.
