Guest guest
Jorege, all this time I've been pointing out it would be OK to take probiotics with food because research showed bowel probiotic numbers increase when the probiotic is taken with a " bolus " , meaning with a " lump " , more or less, of food In other words do-able but true not all probiotic get to the colon, but the methods were not compared to the empty-stomach approach so the difference isn't much apparent. I also suggested using probiotics with whey and inulin shakes because whey and inulin don't increase stomach acidity because they need little or no digestion. The food qualifies as a bolus, the contact time between the probiotic and its food the inulin is proven to be increased by combining them as a 'synbiotic', so the numbers grow much more quickly than with strictly water AND can more easily implant n the mucosal layer because they're activated Moreover, some components of whey actively curb pathogen growth at the same time at least in the upper intestine. Looking at it closely, one could acknowledge why I think the combination approach has the edge biologically, but whatever works for you is all good. I think it's similar to using several probiotics; ya never know which three you needed till you get em. all good, Duncan > > Why to take Probiotics without food in an empty stomach??? > Some probiotic brands like Theelac claim the microcapsules they use are able to cross the digestive process alive and rich the intestines. Who does knows??? The simple reason to take them without food is food activate the digestive process and HCL is released to digest food. Water and probiotic powder don't activate this system so they pass straight to the intestine without contact with HCL, liver enzymes and pancreatic enzymes. So, if you want to take them in the best possible way, you must use probiotic powder diluted in water in an empty stomach. I open the capsules and dilute the powder in water. But, remember no food at thi time, nothing, only water. If you need to take them with food, the capsule shouldn't never be open. Water, Why to drink a lot of water??? Water no only clean the intstinal wall and allow waste to get out but the most important it is rich in oxigen. Candida hates oxigen. When you ferment vegetables, anaerobic bacterias and fungus grow when they are lack off oxigen. You must close the container to get the fermentation process start. Candida hate cold and oxigened places. Insted , it loves, dark and warm places. > . >
