Just diagnosed with Blastocystis and Candida (Australia)

Hello fellow Candies

For many years I have been plagued with bouts of severe fatigue lasting from 12

hrs - 7

days.

I have just had the results of regular stool tests done through a doctor here in

Australia.

My doctor was surprised. First time she has seen a +ve stool test for candida.

Was almost

about to do the private Comprehensive test (350 AUD thru ARL labs)

The regular treatment for Blasto is a 10-14 day course of the antibiotic Flagyl,

which will

probably kill all the probiotics in my gut as well.

I was thinking of trying to eliminate the candida first and then the blasto.

Any comments or suggestions from experience out there?

I have just started on the WPI whey powder and Selenium and have ordered 6

bottles of

Inulin from USA (hope no problem with customs) cost around $93 AUD including

shipping

which wasn't too bad. I have made many enquiries re obtaining Inulin here, but

so far no

success. I shall keep trying. i wouldnt be surprised if and when I do find it,

it will be more

expensive!
