Guest guest
Hi. I tested " highly likely " to have candida so I started and have been following the candida diet strictly for four weeks now. After 1 week (and a lot of miserable die-off symptoms), I started coconut oil, garlic, oil of oregano, olive leaf oil, pau d'arco (tea and extract) and a yeast cleanse supplement (caprylic acid, pau d'arco, grapefruit seed and tea tree). Took those for two weeks, gradually increasing dosages until I was up to the recommended dosage per day (continuing die-off symtoms). I then switched off and have been taking black walnut, cat's claw, goldenseal, and capricin as well as the coconut oil and garlic. I will stay on these for another week then switch back, as is sometimes recommended. I have eased into these phases so as not to shock my system too much at once and, other than the die-off (which has been unpleasant but bearable), I've done ok and am seeing some improvement. My question is, now that I have the diet under control and the anti- fungals up to a decent level, when should I introduce pre- or pro- biotics or both? Any recommendations for a type or types that I can purchase? What is the recommended dosage to start? The ultimate recommended dosage? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. shelby
