Guest guest
I am already very familiar with WAPF and am a member of a local chapter and attend local events. I think Price had the right ideas, but he was looking at modern cultures that have often been some what influenced by modern technology, versus comparing what those same cultures might have eaten 10,000+ years ago.. our DNA has not evolved since then. Many in my local WAPF groups agree with the no-dairy stance, others are ardent supporters. Usually that's because those who are anti-dairy are intolerant to it and see it does them no good, while others are either addicted to it or tolerate it OK. Dairy can effect the brain like an opioid, so it has drug like properties that intolerant people can become addicted to. You might want to read more about casomorphin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casomorphin Casein has been documented to break down in the stomach to produce the peptide casomorphin, an opioid that acts as a histamine releaser. Raw cultured dairy can still contain plenty of casein, and typically people are using cultured dairy for probiotic uses. Cultured vegetables give the same result without the casein.
