Guest guest
Amy: All I know about the SAMe is that it is recommended for 90 days for ALUMINUM detox...no idea what the time frame would be for antimony. Sorry. n a message dated 08/18/2000 7:39:43 PM Eastern Daylight Time, egroups writes: << Subject: administering SAM-e (how long?) Hi all, I found the dosage for SAM-e for my son in the FAQ (thank you for putting that together and thank you everyone for the helpful info), and I'm wondering how long I should expect to have to give my son SAM- e. Are we talking weeks, months, years, or just until a repeat of the hair analysis shows a reduction in the antimony? Should I give him the SAM-e every day with no rest period? Has anyone else given their child SAM-e -- just wondering what kind of side effects might occur in addition to the energizing effect that Andy mentioned in the FAQ. Guest guest
Truthfully Patty, I felt like I was getting better in that department but not 100% and I won't know until I get back on SAM-e. I know I still had the cotton head but was noticing I was doing more things that do require a bit more concentration. So not sure if it was the SAM-e or if it was just my increase in energy that was encouraging me to do more. Wish I could give you a definate answer. I know they are pricey but might be worth a try. Guest guest
Hi Jackie, It's the B12 & Folic Acid & vitamin C that's helping your anemia & hair loss, yet the Iron is probably not allowing the best effects of the other supplements! The live blood analysis also show that I was extremely anemic but she told me that the iron I was taking was not being absorbed unless I add B12 and folic acid in a losenge to take sublingually (sp). The iron I purchased and have been taking for the past 3 weeks has b12 and folic acid and vit c in it but no one told me about it not being absorbed this way. Has anyone else heard of this? At least my hair isn't falling out like it was. In fact its getting thicker and healthier again. I was thinking if I could round up all the herbs even if they are different locations it would help me get on my way. Here's the results from my live blood analysis. First and foremost I am a type A which I never knew and the doctors here don't keep record of that unless you have very rare blood. The microbiologist took 3 drops of blood, one to tell me what type I was, one that showed I have parasites and the other was to show the condition of my blood. The first 2 samples she threw out as soon as we had discussed. I didn't tell her anything and she didn't even look at the questionaire that I filled out so I was quite amazed at what she could tell just from a drop of blood. My digestive system is not good (I knew this) She said I'm not digesting my fats, carbs and protiens and recommended a supplement. She said the one that my naturopath gave me is not working She then went onto the depression. I said " You can tell that from my blood? " She recommended Tyrosine and 5HTP. I told her about using SAM-e and how I felt it working and couldn't get it here and she suggested I try ordering some via internet and have them mark it for personal use. She said with a small order customs will usually let it go thru. My liver is really congested and she asked me if I had any pains or discomfort on my right side under the ribs. YES! I said. She recommended Milk Thistle. I have some in the cupboard and have been adding them into my daily regime lately. I have too much Uric Acid in my blood. She recommended Cranberry capsules. I have Candida Albicans which I already knew and recommended the usual probiotics & yeast buster. I already have those. She said type A blood will usually lead to colon cancer. Yikes! I have very little activity in my brain, ar ar ar, we laughed at that one. So whats new? I said. I told her I felt like I had a head full of cotton when she asked how my memory was and my ability to concentrate. She gave me a drink of some liquid oxygen and waited about 10 minutes while we talked and then took another blood sample. I then saw my blood actually looking healthier (altho a long ways to go) and moving around whereas the first slide/sample showed very little activity. She recommended the liquid oxygen and told me she wanted to see me in 2 mos. She will be phoning me. Yikes! Wonder how much that visit is going to cost me. Today I bought alot of the supplements she recommended in hopes that I may be able to improve my health and it cost me $225.00. Shhhhhhh! Don't tell my hubby k? He doesn't know what to believe and already feels that I spend way too much on natural supplements. I only showed him the 2 digestive aids that I brought home. The rest are in the cupboard and out of site. It was a very interesting visit and what I learned from this was that I have been right all along about most things and at least can concentrate on these with a more streamlined approach. Guest guest
Thanks Martha. I've been taking the iron supplements for about 3-4 weeks now and wondered by that live blood analysis would show me as anemic still. I wonder if I should be switching to another form of iron. I did start with the B12 losenge today before I took my iron so maybe I'll hang tough and see if that will make a difference. Oh what a tangled wed we weave....... ----- Original Message ----- From: MARTHA Sent: Tuesday, February 13, 2001 3:30 PM Subject: Re: SAMe Hi Jackie, It's the B12 & Folic Acid & vitamin C that's helping your anemia & hair loss, yet the Iron is probably not allowing the best effects of the other supplements! Guest guest
Hi Jackie, Great post about the live blood analysis--thanks for sharing that. I especially found the liver congestion interesting. I think our livers are all very definitely affected by the implants. Have you ever done a liver cleanse? Sounds like you got some very good info from that experience and it was well worth it! I know how you feel about the supplements....gosh, it can get expensive! But at the same time, if it offers any hope of relief, you almost have to give it a try. Interesting, too that your blood type is Type A. So am I. I read that book about Eating Right For Your Blood Type....quite amazing stuff, but there is so much debate about how "right" it is! I changed a few of my eating habits as a result of that book, but I really need to be more devoted to it. I am also going to be more devoted to a Candida diet. Have you tried this? Candida is supposed to be a nightmare to get rid of, and I was hoping the ozone would help in that area, but I have not used it consistently long enough yet. I have also never been tested for it, and never took any Diflucan or other products for it. I know one dose of Diflucan won't fix it anyway---it takes much time and effort to get rid of the Candida for good. I know two people who cured their systemic yeast problems--one of them was a woman who ate nothing but raw meat for two years, (oh boy, yummmm), and the other was a woman who took a series of ozone injections and it took a whole summer to finally get rid of it. Thanks again for the post Jackie. Keep us informed of your progess with the supplements she gave you!
