Hi Cristy,

Here is a copy of the letter I posted recently:

" I just started taking some herbs myself. I will give this a try and see

what happens, but I am not expecting a whole lot. I am taking fennel,

fenugreek, wild yam, and saw palmetto, 2 of each 3 times a day.

I do believe herbs to be beneficial, more so than vitamins.

What I do want to watch for is allergic reaction. I think that is the

biggest obstacle for most of us, as our bodies rebel against foreign

substances (and no so foreign either, as I have more food allergies than I

have ever had before) in our bodies.

I'll let you know what happens!

Hi Patty, thanks for searching around. I have written down the names of the

herbs they are talking about and am now going to pull out my trusty herb

book to look them up. I'm curious.....J

I have been looking into the herbal issue for breast enhancement more, and

found this interesting website. Give it a look, if you are currently

considering breast implant surgery, or have considered it and given up on

the idea implants (Yeah for you if you have!)

Very interesting....and maybe good for your health?

Patty thanks for the update. Not offended at all - you go girl! hehe Patty I need help in that area as well so please post again what you are taking. Did you read the part on that site where it talked about rubbing some Fennel? into your breasts and this is supposed to help stimulate breast tissue growth. I'll have to reread it again. J

Hi Ladies,

Well, I don't have any results in the breast department to report with the herbs, but I can say that I have noticed some changes in the sex department!

I can't believe it, but my sexual pleasure is at an all time high. I don't mean to offend any of ladies, but I've had some big bangers lately! And the only thing that has changed is the herbs.

Just wanted to let you know! I am pretty amazed.

This report covers what I am taking, and these are the amounts:

Fenugreek (Solaray brand, 620 mg per capsule)

Fennel (Solaray brand, 450 mg per capsule)

Saw Palmetto (Nature's Way brand, 585 mg per capsule)

Wild Yam (Nature's Way brand, 850 mg in two caps)

http://www.greenbush.net/greenbush/fenmorin.html

Using herbs and foods for breast enhancement is really nothing new. This mastogenic effect has long been known and used in various cultures throughout the world dating back to the harem girls in the middle east. The enhancing effect of herbs such as fenugreek and saw palmetto have been used in folk medicine for centuries. Modern science is just becoming aware of the healthy aspects of phyto-estrogens and their role in increasing the size and health of the breasts.

The single herbs that we recommend have been safely used for centuries, unlike some of the questionable ingredients in the expensive and over complicated breast enhancing formulas on the market. The phyto-nutrients in these herbs for the breasts have been featured in numerous books about breast health and the prevention of breast cancer. The following are the most important of these herbs.Fenugreek.Fast facts: minimizes symptoms of menopause, relieves constipation, controls diabetes, reduces cholesterol, soothes sore throat pain and coughs, eases minor indigestion, relieves diarrhea, increases breast size and milk production in nursing mothers. From ancient times through the late 19th century, fenugreek played a major role in herbal healing. Then it fell by the wayside. Now things are once again looking up for the herb whose taste is a combination of celery and maple syrup. Modern scientific research has found that fenugreek can help reduce cholesterol levels, control diabetes and minimize the symptoms of menopause. In India, the herb was incorporated into curry blends. India's traditional Ayurvedic physicians prescribed it to nursing mothers to increase their milk. In American folk medicine, fenugreek was considered a potent menstruation promoter. It became a key ingredient in Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound -- one of 19th-century America's most popular patent medicines for "female weakness" (menstrual discomforts). Today, fenugreek is most widely used in the United States as a source of imitation maple flavor. But this may change as its medicinal value becomes better known. Another potential area for fenugreek is cutting into the plastic surgery business. For centuries rumors have floated out of the Middle East that harem women were fed fenugreek seed to make them more buxom. This turns out to be more than mere hearsay. The seeds, in addition to female steroid precursors, also contain compounds that increase healthy breast tissue. Since the seeds contain diosgenin and other plant phyto-estrogens Fenugreek provides a mastogenic effect resulting in enhanced breast size. Several studies have shown that fenugreek reduces cholesterol in laboratory animals, and Indian researchers have shown the same effect in people with high cholesterol levels. "There's no question that fenugreek reduces cholesterol," says B. Mowrey, Ph.D., director of the American Phytotherapy Research Laboratory in Salt Lake City, Utah, and author of The Scientific Validation of Herbal Medicine. Fenugreek also "has great promise in alleviating Type II (non- insulin-dependent) diabetes," says Dr. Duke. And according to one study, it may also help people with Type I (insulin-dependent) diabetes.Saw PalmettoSaw palmetto is now a popular and effective treatment for prostate enlargement in men but has it’s origins in natural medicine as a breast enlarger and is still recommended today by naturopathic physicians for increasing breast size. It is also used as an aphrodesiac, for the treatment of impotence in men, and for inhibited sexual desire in women. Saw palmetto has been used for centuries. Native Americans, dating back to pre-Mayan civilizations, used the berries for food and medicine and particularly for breast disorders in women. Early American botanists noted that animals who were fed with these berries grew sleek and robust, experienced restored sexual vigor and improved muscle tone. Saw palmetto is useful as a nutritive tonic, supporting the function of a healthy appetite and smooth digestion. Saw palmetto berry also tones the urethra, and it may be used to uphold the healthy function of the thyroid gland and urinary system. This remarkable herb has no side effects or drug interactions. It’s breast enhancing effects stem from phyto-nutrients that stimulate breast tissue, increasing health and size. To call saw palmetto a “man’s herb” is a disservice to it’s healthy benefits for both sexes.Wild YamWild Yam is probably the most widely used herbal tonic for women’s health. It is widely used as a breast enlarger and a sexual stimulant and is recommended by herbalist Weed author of "Breast Cancer? Breast Health!" for healthy breast tissue. Wild Yam has long been used for it’s benefits in women’s reproductive health, including premenstrual syndrome and menopausal problems. It can be taken in capsules or in tea (though there are mixed opinions on the flavor). The powder can be added to creams or vaginal ointments, and can be added to your lotion for breast massage. The phyto-nutrients in wild yam are a good compliment to the nutrients in fenugreek for stimulating breast size increases.FennelFennel has been used for centuries to enhance breast size and to promote milk production in new mothers. The herb’s history is similar to the story of fenugreek above. It is second only to Fenugreek in estrogenic compounds and can be used in tea or added to lotion and massged directly into the breasts. Fennel is also used to treat amenorrhea, angina, asthma, heartburn, high blood pressure and to increase sexual desire in women. It is rich in the phyto-nutrients that increase breast size and is a great addition to the program.Other Breast Enhancing HerbsDr. Duke and others have added a few herbs to their lists of "mastogenic" herbs; herbs that can increase healthy breast tissue. While the herbs in our Breast Enlargement Kits are the best to start with and have the highest concentrations of the correct phyto-nutrients, some women may want to add one or two of these to the program. They include Soy Isoflavones, Red Clover and Black Cohosh and have the added benefit of perhaps further reducing the risks of breast cancer. Whole grains such as oats, wheat and barley can also contribute nutrients that may boost the breast enhancing process and even chocolate is helpful. (Patty says, NOT!!! Ok, so I am biased....I am allergic to chocolate, but I don't think this is good advice for us!)

Hi Jackie,

No, I haven't done any of the massage yet. I planned to, but just haven't done it. I have some sweet almond massage oil that I will probably put the fennel powder into, or some jojoba oil, or just plain lotion, whatever works good.

I ordered some bulk fennel and fenugreek powder from my health food store. It was really reasonable, like $3 each for a pound! That should last awhile! Here is what the site said about massaging with the powder:

Using some of the bulk herbs, extracts or even the herb from a capsule mixed with lotion for massage will help quite a bit to boost results from the herbs. The massage stimulates circulation in the breast tissue speeding up the reception of the nutrients. The nutrients from the herbs in the lotion will also be absorbed topically which is why it is best to leave the mixture on for a period of time or even overnight if possible. These nutrients are absorbed even if it does not seem that the herbs are completely absorbed out of the mixture and some residue remains. The massage can be used more often than once per day if you like. Just take care not to irritate your skin by massaging too much; five minutes or so of gentle massage is enough. You may use the fennel powder or fenugreek powder, or just open a capsule of any of the herbs and add it to a little lotion. Thicker is better but if you don't care for the herb drying up and flaking off just use more lotion and less herb. Even a little will help and you don't have to use so much that it creates a big mess.If you have a problem using the powder for massage just make a strong tea with the fenugreek, add a little something that will give it an aroma that you would like better- orange peel, cinnamon, mint?- and then just use a little of this liquid in some lotion. This should get you going.

LOL Patty, I should say not! I wouldn't be missing any doses either with the promise of firmer younger breasts approaching. Patty I'm curious, I was wondering if you know of a site that gives all the data on an herbal product, like the good and the bad if any. The reason I'm asking is that altho I believe in herbs and natural health I have learned to question something when it specifies only the good things that I want to hear. So far the only places that say that fenugreek, fennel and saw palmetto have been used for breast enhancement for years are the ones that are actually selling the product. I have only done a search mind you for 'herbs for breast enlargement' so maybe I need to redefine my search. I'll try but meantime if you or anyone else has a site I can visit, I would appreciate knowing. I have my appointment tomorrow after work for my live blood analysis so I was going to pick up the herbs then. Why should I wait until I have my implants removed? If anyone knows of a good answer to that one please pass it on. Thanks Jackie

I also just wanted to mention that I think the most important part of this herb program is CONSISTENCY. You have to take these herbs like clockwork, 3 times a day. I have been hit or miss with my other herbal products that I used to use, like ginkgo biloba and ginseng, but I have missed only two doses since I started on February 5th with the fennel, fenugreek, saw palmetto, and wild yam. I don't plan on missing any more!

Jackie,

In my book, the Holistic Herbal, which is an encyclopedia of herbs, their uses, effects on the body and how to make tinctures, decoctions, etc., it does say that fenugreek has a reputation of stimulating development of the breasts. There is a whole chapter on the female reproductive system, which covers things like pregnancy, lactation, menopause, normalizing hormonal systems, etc. There are several herbs listed for the different needs.

For example, these are listed:

Black Cohosh--can normalize reproductive system and aid uterine activity in labor

Blue Cohosh--eases false labor and ensures easy delivery

Southernwood--can be used to initiate delayed menstruation

Damiana--acts as an aphrodisiac

Periwinkle--for excessive menstrual flow

Chaste Tree--normalizes hormones

etc., etc. etc...

For milk production, these are listed as being beneficial:

Aniseed

Blessed Thistle

Caraway Seeds

Fennel Seeds

Fenugreek Seeds

Goat's Rue (listed as the most powerful)

Vervian

Aphrodisiacs listed include:

Damiana

Ginseng

Saw Palmetto

My guess is that these herbs have a reputation for a reason....maybe they work?

I agree that they probably do work Patty. Being as gullable and vulnerable as I am tho I need to keep the skeptic side of me alert just to be on the safe side. I probably should buy another herbal book cause I've found that the one I have doesn't have every herb in it and not enough of an explanation. Maybe its time to start looking for a new one. J
