Guest guest
Shalom all, Just a brief into. I'm Kathy in AZ, and am researching things like MSG and Candida. I realize there are differering views on yoghurt and kefir products, I'm still undecided. But......... somthing that might help those who use them, I buy plain and sweeten with Stevia, KAL is my preferred brand and I use a very tiny amount or it gets bitter. Don't let the price put you off, a bottle lasts me a full year. Now I'll go back to learning and researching Thanks for listening Kathy in AZ
Guest guest
Kathy, what I've found with a few family members and a couple of dozen clients is that any sweetener, even the stevia, is unnecessary as you get better, because you just don't crave sweets anymore. I blame mineral deficiency for the sweet tooth. Duncan > > Shalom all, Just a brief into. I'm Kathy in AZ, and am researching things > like MSG and Candida. Guest guest
Interesting point Duncan, hadn't thought of that.... A question, if we're craving sweets I've been told that means our body wants protein. Yes?? No?? Thoughts?? I'll share some of my story after my poor bruised hand heals. Kathy in AZ who is reallly processing a lot of info.
Guest guest
Definitely, Duncan! I no longer eat sweets and I don't crave them anymore. It's kind of strange. If I do eat something sweet (like a sugar-free cookie), it's only out of habit, and it does nothing for me - to the point that I think, " Why did I even eat that? " I used to eat ice cream every night! So yes, Duncan is right on this one. W
Guest guest
I think if you're craving sweets you shuld look at glucose swings/levels as the cause. When you think about it, how would a carnivore crave sweets or even recognize a sweets craving as a sign he needed more meat? Better yet how would a vegan do it? Guest guest
Sweet cravings for me have always been adrenal related. Protein is a better " food " for the adrenals than sugar, but the adrenals are craving " energy " , which translates to sweets to our brains. Protein will give a better, long-lasting energy than sugars.
