Guest guest
I do not believe yeast can ever be killed long term. The microflora need to be built up to a point they naturally keep yeast in control. > > Citrus Punch > > Anybody here ever taken Diflucan for systemic candida? > > >
Guest guest
Diflucan and Nystatin are dangerous drugs with the accompanying side effects. Go here for one link to user comments about the dangers and side effects of Diflucan. You can Google for many more. http://www.askapatient.com/viewrating.asp?drug=19949 & name=DIFLUCAN Three Lac worked great for me. I swear by it. It's a little pricey and I had to take it off and on for about a year. Should probably have just stayed on it but I would go off when I started feeling better. Yes, we do always have some yeast in our bodies but when it gets out of control and becomes systemic, we need something to control it. Diet is really, really important too. Get one of Dr. G. Crooks books on Candida. He's the expert in this area. But be very cautious if you decide to take the drugs. Learn everything you can about them before you make the decision. Guest guest
Thanks a lot Ginger. I've got the three lac and today I took my second dose of Difluan, but I think I'll stop after this and go back to three lac. I'm also taking lots of probiotics and I'm going to buy some nature's biotics as well and stick to a very very strict candida diet also using olive leaf extract and oregano oil. thanks much Re: candida treatment Diflucan and Nystatin are dangerous drugs with the accompanying sideeffects. Guest guest
WONDERFUL! Another testimony for Three Lac. THANKYOU! It really makes me think I'm having die off. I've been sick a LONG time so I don't expect this to work overnight. :-) Carol B > > > > > > Citrus Punch > > > > > > Anybody here ever taken Diflucan for systemic candida? > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi . I've also done raw garlic and coconut oil which are POWERFUL natural antifungals. The garlic got rid of my sinus infection in December (took about a week). Guest guest
How long were you sick? And by clearing up, you mean your symptoms went away? Good for you. Guest guest
I really don't know how much seaweed is " too much " ... but in the worldat large, some people eat a LOT of it and they seem healthier than us. The one symptom that might happen is acneamong Japanese fishermen ... but I'm guessing they eat way more than you or I would ever think of.Some seaweed does have a lot of iodine, but it is balancedwith selenium and some other complex elements (likepolysaccharides, which change how your body deals with heavy metals and detoxification in general). Anyway, I've tried to " OD " on the stuff, and the only changeI can report is that on days after I eat a whole lot of seaweed, my eyesight is clearer and I eat less. Also my digestion changes (for the better). It's very filling though,so one doesn't tend to eat a whole lot of it.In short: on paper, seaweed might have " too much " of onething or another. In practice, it doesn't seem to hurt, and might help. I think eating too much seaweed falls in thebucket of " eating too many apples " ... it just doesn't happen ... -- On 3/17/07, Doey <twosteprav@...> wrote: I was diagnosed with Chronic Candidas from biopsies ofmy tongue and cheek. Guest guest
Heh heh. Yeah, I guess some people even react to apples! What I meant though, was that it's next to impossibleto eat a LOT of apples. You eat one, and you have hadenough apples. Or at least most people do. We noted that effect on car trips when I was a kid. There were these roadsigns stands, at the time, thatadvertised " All the cider you can drink! $2.00 " (or whatever).Anyway, we LOVED cider so it sounded like a great deal. And the cider tasted good, too. But unlikesoda pop, it's very difficult to drink a LOT of cider.Try drinking a Big-Gulp size cup of cider sometime! You can do that with Coke ... but most people can't do it with apple cider. And the effect is even more pronounced with wholeapples! OK, there are probably some folks who can in facteat 20 apples in a sitting. (which have the sugarequivalent of 1 Hershey bar, IIRC). Not many though. -- On 3/19/07, cindi22595 <cindi22595@...> wrote: one might think so if they were green apples.or perhaps i'm ultra sensitive to their effect. :-)cindi--- In iodine , "

I noticed pretty much after only a week (no exaggeration)of not eating the above aforementioned foods, that the symptoms of this bacteria down there greatly diminished to the point that now after 6 weeks there is nothing. I continue on the diet as there are other symptoms i need to still address and i don't want to undo the last 6 weeks just in case. From my own experience, I'd say definitely give up sugar...if not for anything else. That made a huge difference to me. all the best,Gez

Guest guest
Chronic vaginitis may be a side effect of candida in the intestines. I keep getting these infections, have one right now! And nothing really helps, it keeps coming back. I am on Diflucan 200mg a day, taking probiotics too. You MUST take probiotics when you take meds for these infections. I will be starting my " official " candida treatment w/ the meds my doctor will prescribe, starting this Wednesday when I go to the office. You need to treat the root of the infection, which is probably in your intestines/stomach, which is why your infection keeps coming back. **************Get fantasy football with free live scoring. Welcome to our group. The reason you haven't been able to get rid of vaginal yeast/candida is because the only way to cure it is by building up your immune system, and that is only with diet and supplements. The diet eliminates foods that feed candida, and foods that are damaging to the body. In the meantime you can do direct natural treatments that will help, but they won't cure it. I suggest you start by reading the article emailed to you when you joined " Candida Basics by Bee " , or read my more extensive article " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " : http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu2_8.php Also read " Curing Candida, How to Get Started " on that same menu, and " Vaginal Yeast Treatments " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/women6.php After you read please get back to us with questions and concerns. We are here to help you get healthy! The best, Bee

Chronic vaginitis is not a side effect of candida in the intestines. Chronic vaginitis is candida overgrowth in the vagina, which happens occurs in any mucus membranes in the body, but mostly in the intestines. Diflucan is extremely hard on the liver, and taking probiotics too soon won't help either. It isn't possible to cure candida by " killing it off " with drugs or anything else. The only way to cure candida is by building up your immune system with nutrients (diet + supplements). All antifungal meds, except Nystatin, are extremely toxic and poisonous to the body, and there are many natural antifungals that are much more effective and not toxic, i.e. coconut oil, garlic, oil of oregano, clove oil, etc. Also many foods are also antifungal. Also probiotics won't help until later on in the program. But it is most important to follow the diet which doesn't allow foods and toxins that feed the candida; in order to understand please read the article emailed to you when you joined, called " Candida Basics by Bee " - also here's a whole section on Candida on my website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/candida/index.php The best in health, Bee
