Guest guest
Thankyou Gail for the kind words. I just was one of those unfortunate ones that got a severely bad case because I had it for nearly all my life without knowing what was wrong so that it had time to really get life threatening. I think when you have something like that for fifty years, it might be pretty hard to get rid of, especially when you get near death before finding out the problem. I am sure I will get well, but it is not going to be any fun doing those cleanses and staying on the starvation diet probably another year. I want to add here also that I learned from experience that emotional STRESS will feed candida even more nicely than sugar. What REALLy put me down all the way on my death bed three years ago was when my step dad left my 82 year mother. I had to take her in my house and move all of her possession out of a three bedroom house by MYSELF with many long trips in the car and then live with her VERY upset. EVen before that happened I needed a lot of help myself and the severe stress of the situation put me down where I could not get better ever since. I say all of this to warn the rest of you that if you CAN foresee a very stressful situation headed your way that might last awhile, you need to avoid it at all cost if possible. I SHOULD have left her furniture go and called my brother no matter how loud I knew he would kick and scream. Next time it is going to be different when someone else needs my help and I am not ABLE. So don't try to do things you should't out of a sense of responsibility if there is any other way out at all. It WILL feed the yeast the same as if you were eating sugar out of the sugar bowl and that is the trueth. I also think that high stress people and nervous people are more suseptable to candida and it is tougher for them to get well. EVen when I used to raise pigeons I learned that a certain disease that was just particular to pigeons called paramixovirus, would ALWAYS kill the nervous or scared birds but always the ones that were calmer by nature or were my PETS that were therefore tamer and more confident about their surroundings always lived and never died from it so long as they were also hand fed and syringed with water during the crippling stage. Stress does the SAME thing to pigeons. So stress is very very bad for candida, more than most people realize and it is not talked about very much. So thought I would throw that in because it may help some of you if you can avoid things in your life that might cause it. Especially avoid situations you might see coming ahead of time and plan to do something else about it other than what you would normally do. Don't take on too much responsibility.
