I haven't had any of the gas or bloated side effects yet (I'm hoping I'm starting with a low enough dose to avoid the gas) but last night I got a weird, itchy rash under each underarm. I'm not certain it's related to the Inulin but the timing is suggestive. It could be additional detox/die-off. I've been having die-off symptoms off and on for the entire 2 months of my anti-candida program. But I keep feeling better after each flare up so I'm assuming it's die off. This is the first time I've got a rash. Do you know of any known side effects of Inulin causing rash? If it's tolerable (which is still is) should I continue with the Inulin at current dosage and see if it passes? > Thanks > Lori >
Guest guest
Hi Lori; probably sluggish phase II liver function. More undenatured whey and selenium, or maybe alpha-lipoic acid to regenerate glutathione would help. Glutathione is the main phase II liver detox support. I don't think the inulin could cause it, no. Guest guest
Lori, here's where detox balance info you need comes in; read the liver function chapter scanned from a book from a Great Smokies Labs Founder: http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/live_function.html Duncan -- In candidiasis , " Duncan Crow " <duncancrow@...> wrote: > > Hi Lori; probably sluggish phase II liver function. Guest guest
Thanks Duncan. Great link you sent - very informative! I'll add another serving of the undenatured whey and selenium at dinner (currently just taking it in the morning). I've bumped my inulin dose to 1/2 tsp 3 X a day and so far doing great! I took an epsom salt bath last night and that seemed to help the rash as well. I'm also taking 500 mg of L-Glutamine a day since I've been building my running mileage back up as I'm feeling better. Do you think I'd benefit from a liver flush (the one you posted on your website)? I haven't tried one yet. I'm in the middle of a parasite cleanse (Paragone) and will be in the 5 day rest period after this weekend. Would this be an optimal time for the liver/galbladder flush? > > > > Hi Duncan, > > I added the undenatured whey and selenium to my anti-candida diet 2 weeks with great results.
