Guest guest
Hello, Type O's tend to be very acidic by nature and Aloe is an alkalizing agent. However, Aloe is a great anti-everything like coconut oil, oregano oil, and olive leaf extract. However, if you are trying to kill something then you simply must, your type O system should recover. Probably not recommended long term. I have found that alkalizing my system has been very beneficial - except that bacteria like an alkaline system. As long as you are in the 7.4 - 7.6 pH range you should be alright. I would focus more on the addition of probiotics and cutting back on carbs, yeasts, and molds. I'd also look at the Candida Cleanse from Renew Life - it seemed to work very well for me. I'm on antibiotics right now trying to clear up a sinus infection related cold (Candida related I'm sure). So, I'll be loading up on probiotics and really watching my carbs for the next month or so. Good luck, Brad On Wed, Jan 21, 2009 at 6:58 PM, <JAMming_13@...> wrote: > I've been taking aloe for a month now, and feel my symptoms are > improving, however when I told my naturopath I was taking it, she saaid > to stop! Guest guest
, aloe vera has been legendary as a healing agent for thousands of years, including to the majority of people who are of blood type O. I think your naturopath has not measured damage in you from aloe vera, and also that she read some bad data and incorporated it into her reference material. Guest guest
Thanks for that information . Â I am blood type O and I have been taking aloe vera for around three years and I have serious gut lining damage. Crikeys - I'm stopping aloe today. Â Helen. As it is damaging to the lining of blood type O's. A quick on-line search seems to back this up. Now I'm confused...I thought I was improving and want to continue, but not if I'll be doing more harm than good. Any opinions? Stay connected to the people that matter most with a smarter inbox. Guest guest
Hi , I'm type O and have been taking Aloe Vera juice for around 4 months now. All of my symptoms have improved and I'm continuing to lose weight as well. Some people have said I look younger (I'm 43). I think the naturopath may be talking about Aloe that has sugars and other chemicals, like sodium benzoate as a preservative. I would continue to take it as long as you aren't having any other problems. Take care and good luck. Guest guest
I think your positive post Suzi is the rule rather than the exception for aloe vera; I found literally hundreds of positives and no negatives in my search on the subject of aloe and gut. Not to say it's impossible that it doesn't work in some people but aloe has been legendary for healing gut for a couple of thousand years for good reason..
