Guest guest
You should look into Armour. I was on Levo for years and years and it almost killed me. Armour saved my life, it works with your body, Levo just tricks it. Best, http://www.ChestnutHillDesigns.com http://shellyct.blogspot.com/ Life is as dear to the mute creature as it is to man. Guest guest
Sunny: I used to take Levothyroxine for a weak thyroid and Coconut Oil will help that condition tremendously, even raising your body temperature. Have you given it any thought? Bonnie Re: Waking up at 3 o'clock at night Thank you so much for your input!!! What is supplemental HC? My cortisol levels in the early morning tests have been low. I took licorice for a while but now I can't take it I feel sick. So any suggestions please...... ALso, my thyroid is sluggish(hypo) and I have been taking levo for that. Thanks in advance!!!! Guest guest
I was using Levo for 5 years and this high TSH came about a few years before Menopause. My doctor said I would have to take it the rest of my life. Dr. Lee said in his book, " What Your Doctor May NOT Tell You About Menopause " , that once you begin using a natural topical Progesterone cream that it is very likely that your TSH will go down and you can go off the Levo. I was very sceptical, but that is what happened. I haven't used anything in 11 years now. Guest guest
Yes, Sunny I got off the Levo 11 years ago, when I began using Progesterone cream for Menopause Symptoms. I posted another email to the List about that very thing, today. I read in this Menopause book, that once I started using this cream, that I would probably have my Thyroid return to normal as this Dr. Lee, said that he saw so many women with low thyroid in his practice, but very few men. He figured that it must be hormonal and it was. I didn't believe it would happen to me but it actually did. If you need anymore clarification, just ask. Bonnie Re: Waking up at 3 o'clock at night Bonnie, It sounds like you are off of Levo. How did you get off of thyroid medication? I don't know anything about coconut oil except it is loaded with saturated fat....... Any insight would really educate me. Thanks in advance!!! Guest guest
Virgin coconut oil may be saturated fat but it is extremely good for you and aids in keeping slim. It is carbs which clog the system and make you fat. Dee -- Re: Waking up at 3 o'clock at night Bonnie, It sounds like you are off of Levo. How did you get off of thyroid medication? Guest guest
It doesn't work for all thyroid patients, that is actually quite rare, at least from the thyroid folks I know. My progesterone levels are actually normal, my " good " estrogen is low, almost nonexistant, and my " bad " estrogen is high, my thyroid is low, and my adrenals are or have been low. I'm doing OK now with the adrenals, but I'm sure unending stress would wipe them out again. I truly believe I am " toxic " and that is why all my hormones are so danged low. I am the picture of a " TCM deficient constitution " . Best, http://www.ChestnutHillDesigns.com http://shellyct.blogspot.com/ Life is as dear to the mute creature as it is to man.
